Estrategias de afrontamiento en padres de niños con cáncer

Se pretende conocer las estrategias de afrontamiento que utilizan los padres de niños con cáncer ante al reto que supone esta enfermedad. Se ha utilizado una metodología de investigación grupal y cualitativa. La muestra la constituyen 14 madres/padres cuyos hijos hace más de dos años que han contraído la enfermedad. Se ha comprobado que los padres utilizan una gran variedad de estrategias. Unas son activas: centrada en el problema (adecuación a la acción y calma, entereza y reflexión); regulación afectiva; búsqueda de información; adquisición de apoyo social, instrumental, informativo y/o emocional; reevaluación o reestructuración cognitiva y pensamiento positivo; y distracción. The construction of an attachment bond in children exposed to domestic violence. The structuring of the attachment bond may be influenced by specific characteristics related to individuals and context. The aim of this study was to evaluate the quality of attachment in a family unit composed of one mother and four children, who were living in a Safe House for victims fleeing from domestic violence. The objective of these study days was to address the question of the powers of lordship which were exercised in the countryside of central-northern Italy between the mid fourteenth century and the end of the fifteenth century. Macip, alias Joan de Joanes, fue sin lugar a dudas el renovador estilístico del taller dirigido por su padre, Vicent Macip, hasta al menos 1542, fecha en la que aparece como titular del mismo. En este contexto, con la culminación del retablo de Segorbe se inicia una etapa en la que el genio creativo de Joanes se manifiesta progresivamente con mayor nitidez, al combinar magistralmente en su producción artística los italianismos importados con los influjos flamencos presentes en la ciudad a través de Mencía de Mendoza, culta noble y ardua coleccionista que vivió a caballo entre España y Flandes, especialmente en Valencia.

A methodology to generate a synergetic land-cover map by fusion of different land-cover products

Abstract The main goal of this study is to develop a general framework for building a hybrid land-cover map by the synergistic combination of a number of land-cover classifications with different legends and spatial resolutions. The proposed approach assesses class-specific accuracies of datasets and establishes affinity between thematic legends using a common land-cover language such as the UN Land-Cover Classification System (LCCS). The approach is illustrated over a large region in Europe using four land-cover datasets (CORINE, GLC2000, MODIS and GlobCover), but it can be applied to any set of existing products. Abstract: Methodological approaches able to integrate data from sample plots with cartographic processes are widely applied. Based on mathematic-statistical techniques, the spatial analysis allows the exploration and spatialization of geographic data. Starting from the punctual information on land use types obtained from the dataset of the first phase of the ongoing new Italian NFI (INFC), a spatialization of land cover classes was carried out using the Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW) method. 9 pages; International audience; This paper illustrates the potentialities of a home-made portable LIBS (laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy) instrument in Earth sciences, more particularly in geochemically recognizing (i) tephra layers in lacustrine sediments and (ii) fossilization processes in ammonites. Abundances for selected lines of Al, Ca, Fe, Ti, Ba and Na were determined in lacustrine chalk sediments of the Jura, where the Laacher See Tephra (LST) layer is recorded.
