This study aims to compare in-vitro the fitting accuracy of implant-supported metal frameworks used for full-arch orthodontic restoration. The hypotheses tested were as follows: (1) for a fixed implant morphology, strains developed within the framework depend on how the framework had been fabricated and (2) stresses transferred to the implant–bone interface are related to the amount of framework misfit. Suite of Statistical Models Forecasting Latvian GDP

Abstract We develop a suite of statistical models to forecast Latvian GDP. We employ various univariate and multivariate econometric techniques to obtain short-term GDP projections and to assess the performance of the models. We also comprise the information contained in components of GDP and obtain short-term GDP projections from disaggregated perspective. We run out-of-sample forecasting procedures to evaluate GDP projections and to assess forecasting accuracy of all individual statistical models. Vegetal inclusions embedded in clayey materials (cob, ceramic, mudbrick) are investigated by using impregnation of the porous material with a fluorescent polymer. The micro-casting of the porosity is exploited by following two ways. Sections of the treated samples are examined under UV-light, showing vegetal structures amenable to a botanical identification and quantification. Moreover, micro-casts embedded in the mineral matrix have been successfully sorted. This new application is a tool to study archaeological samples previously not amenable to the work of archaeobotanists and to expand their field of investigation.

Recently introduced measures for Economic Policy Uncertainty (EPU) included in the data from 1997 - 2016 have a role in forecasting out-of-sample values for the future real economic activity for both the euro area and the UK economies. In this paper we present work aimed at developing a compact robotic device able to reach objects at far distance.The work is based on the idea of casting manipulation, and that allows to deploy an end-effector at large distances from the robot’s base by throwing (casting) it and controlling its ballistic flightusing forces transmitted through a light tether connected to the end-effector itself.
