The paper reports the results of the archaeological excavations carried out between 2000 and 2007 in the Early Christian cemetery of Villagrazia di Carini. Four periods were recognized in stratigraphy, from late antiquity to the mid-twentieth century. The sepulchral typologies are arcosolia, loculi, "tombe a mensa" and "formae". The cemetery was used by the Christian community of the ancient diocese of Hykkara from the 4th to at least the 7th century A.D.

Wiele aspektów wczesnej duchowości protestanckiej (mamy na uwadze szczególnie XVI stulecie) utrudnia usystematyzowanie jej w kontekście narastającej tendencji analizy tego okresu. The subject of this study is one of the central truths of liturgical theology, especially of the theology of the Word of God, which in some aspects were re-discovered by the Second Vatican Council. In the first part, the author addresses the ąuestion of presence of Christ in the Liturgy of the Word, where Hc Himself speaks and sanctifies. In the second part, our attention is focused on the presence of the Holy Spirit in the Liturgy of the Word. Patriotyzm jest fenomenem, który przeżywa w Polsce w ciągu kilku ostatnich lat swoisty renesans. Ten „znak czasów” został zauważony przez polskich biskupów katolickich, którzy w 2017 r. opublikowali dokument pt. Chrześcijański kształt patriotyzmu. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest zaprezentowanie najważniejszych myśli płynących z tego dokumentu, w którym podkreśla się przede wszystkim istotną różnicę pomiędzy godnym propagowania patriotyzmem a stanowiącym formę egoizmu nacjonalizmem. Wydaje się, iż te refleksje społeczne Konferencji Episkopatu Polski powinny dotrzeć do szerszego grona odbiorców (także niemieckojęzycznych), czemu ma służyć ten artykuł.

The materials found in the catacomb of Villagrazia di Carini consist essentially of African Red Slip Ware, coarse ware of probable African production and oil lamps, both Tripolitan and types Atlante VIII and X. Primo volume della Collana "Quaderni Digitali di Archeologia Postclassica". La catacomba di Villagrazia di Carini è uno dei principali monumenti del primo Cristianesimo siciliano, cimitero di una comunità agiata e aperta alle relazioni con l'area mediterranea. Lo studio proposto in questo volume, partendo dai dati relativi ai materiali ceramici restituiti dalla stratigrafia archeologica dei settori indagati dal 2000 al 2012, testimonia i rapporti commerciali intercorsi fra il territorio servito dalla presenza del complesso catacombale, coincidente con quello dell'ecclesia carinensis citata da Gregorio Magno, e l'Africa romana e protobizantina.

[EN] The development of virtual reality (VR), together with other technological innovations will shape the future of e-retailing. This research studies the effectiveness of different VR formats and devices in a virtual store environment, namely V-commerce. This study proposes and test a conceptual model that analyses the relations between sense of presence, brand recall and purchase intention, while also going deeper into their antecedents. Heteroglossic and multimodal resources in use : participation across spaces of identification in a Christian lifestyle sports community

This dissertation examines how members of one particular youth community, Christian lifestyle sports enthusiasts in Finland, use language and other semiotic resources to construct participation in their community of practice (CoP). The CoP is organized around the late-modern activity culture of lifestyle sports. The participants also share the Christian faith and in their snowboarding camps organize Bible study sessions and engage in prayer and worship. The theoretical and methodological framework incorporates sociolinguistics, social semiotics, discourse studies and connective ethnography, including the exploration of both the digital and physical spaces of the community.
