Royal Catholic Teacher Seminars, which fist appeared at the beginning of the 19th century as a result of Prussian educational reform, took on an important mission of training future organists. Therefore in many Silesian parishes of the 19th and the fist half of the 20th centuries it was a common practice for teachers to be organists at the same time. As it is shown by the experiences of Upper Silesia, teacher seminars were the source of highly qualifid church musicians. Contemporary theology applies the old notion of loci theologici also to media and film. It is not only films that are directly religious (biblical, hagiographies, etc.) that have theological significance, but also those that take up topics related to the Church in a critical way. Therefore, one should be aware of the appearance of successive films, documentaries and feature films, which raise the issue of sexual abuse against the youngest (paedophilia) also in the Church. Artykuł nie podsumowuje długiego i bardzo bogatego w wiele ekumenicznych inicjatyw pontyfikatu Jana Pawła II. Prezentując jego ekumeniczną wizję Kościoła, ogranicza się do czterech punktów. Wylicza główne dokumenty ekumeniczne napisane przez Papieża (1), bardziej szczegółowo omawia treść listu apostolskiego Orientale lumen (2) i encykliki Ut unum sint (3). W ostatnim punkcie wyodrębnia elementy oryginalne, które w prezentowanej encyklice dotyczą Papieża i papiestwa (4). W formie wniosku stwierdzona, że z dokumentów ekumenicznych pozostawionych przez Jana Pawła II tchnie ogromny potencjał jego intelektualnej i kościelnej otwartości, odwagi oraz ekumenicznej nadziei.

The research aim of the article is to determine the legal rules related to marriage in the earliest writings of the primary Christianity, that is dated to the post-apostolic period and to the activities of the apologists of the IIth century. The research query indicated that the writers of the post-apostolic period put more emphasis on maintaining by the spouses harmonious relationships between each other, preserving evangelical recommendations and gaining moral virtues. Artykuł analizuje naukę o małżeństwie w dwóch współczesnych, niemieckich katechizmach: Evangelischer Erwachsener Katechismus (Ewangelicki katechizm dla dorosłych) i w przetłumaczonym na język polski Katolickim katechizmie dorosłych. Po ogólnym wprowadzeniu treść pierwszego z nich zebrana jest wokół tematów: małżeństwo cywilne a ślub kościelny, istota małżeństwa, formy małżeństwa, rozwód małżeński, małżeństwa mieszane. Tematami drugiego są: małżeństwo jako sakrament, istotne przymioty małżeństwa, małżeństwa mieszane. Artykuł kończy krótkie podsumowanie.

This dissertation deals with the building and design work of the church builder family Rijf in Österbotten during the Gustavian Period. The Rijfs were Finland- Swedes and entailed four mason-based master builders: Thomas Rijf (1726-1803), his sons Jacob (1753-1808) and Carl (1756-1801), and Jacob´s son Carl Jacobsson Rijf (1783-1808). The most famous member of the family was Jacob Rijf. He was the first Finnish master builder to study at the Royal Swedish Academy of Arts and was supervised by the leading architects of the Board of Public Works and Buildings, Carl Fredrik Adelcrantz (1716-1796) and Olof Tempelman (1745-1816). Abstract This article examines state-church relations in Sweden by analysing clerical appointment processes in the latter part of the 16th century. The aim is to ascertain whether the king of Sweden could appoint pastors independently, and if not, with whom he was compelled to share the power. Earlier studies argue that the power of the king grew due to the reformation. First, this article examines the number of clerical appointments that were made in the period 1560-1611. This paper is an attempt to indicate the reasons why a theologian should be interested in other sciences. The openness of the Church towards science is a relevant issue for Christian faith. Its justification today is in a climate of scientific thinking, in which scientific tools of recognising of the world, as well as the scientific picture of the world play an important role.
