Different primary and secondary prevention studies have documented that a greater degree of reduction in low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) levels is associated with a greater decrease in cardiovascular event rates. PCSK9 inhibitors achieve important, rapid and sustained decreases in LDL-C. New clinical practice guidelines for the management of dyslipidemia establish reduced target levels of LDL-C. These goals are hardly achievable with a statin-only treatment, even in combination with ezetimibe. The addition of PCSK9 inhibitors can play a determining role in achieving these recommendations. According to cognitive theory of depression (Beck, 1967, 1976), negatively biased information processing is responsible for maintenance, severity and duration of depressive affect. However, the evidence does not consistently support this assumption. Procedure of administration of vinflunine is complex and consists of an Y-site injection with fluid at different speeds. Dose is diluted with 100 mL of 0.9% sodium chloride or 5% glucose and infused with half of the 500 mL bag of the fluid over 20 min; after that, the remaining fluid is administered at 300 mL/h. In this study, chemical stability and physical compatibility of vinflunine diluted with in 500 mL of both fluids were evaluated to simplify the administration procedure (infusion of mixture on 20 min followed by 250 mL of fluid at 300 mL/h). OBJECTIVE: To achieve a closer relationship between urologists and pathologists and to use a common language and identical objectives in the pathology of bladder cancer. METHODS AND RESULTS: Special emphasis was given to an analysis of the new World Health Organization (WHO) grading system, to the interpretation of the last Tumour-Nodes-Metastasis staging rules, and to identifying new markers of prognostic significance in clinical practice.
