Here, we present an integrated map of the genome, transcriptome and immunome of an epithelial mouse tumor, the CT26 colon carcinoma cell line. Results We found that Kras is homozygously mutated at p.G12D, Apc and Tp53 are not mutated, and Cdkn2a is homozygously deleted. International audience; This study describes a sensitive microassay for measuring cytotoxicity based on the degree of inhibition of RNA synthesis in HepG2 cells. RNA synthesis is measured by the kinetic uptake of radiolabeled uridine. A large number of compounds were tested in a wide range of concentrations. The concentration required to induce 50% inhibition of HepG2 uridine uptake rates (IC50) was determined for each compound and used to rank its potency. These IC50s were compared with IC50s measured with the neutral red assay. 2-acetylaminofluorene, benzo[a]pyrene and methylnitrosourea were not cytotoxic in the neutral red assay. Images taken in noncooperative environments do not always have targets under the same illumination conditions. There is a need for methods to detect targets independently of the illumination. We propose a technique that yields correlation peaks that are invariant under a linear intensity transformation of object intensity. The new locally adaptive contrast-invariant filter accomplishes this by combining three correlations in a nonlinear way. Vector median filters efficiently reduce noise while preserving image details. However, their high computational complexity for color images makes them impractical for real-time systems. We propose new computationally efficient filtering algorithms, called index mapping filters (IMF). These filtering algorithms are accelerated by implementing them on a massively data parallel processor array. In addition to greater computational efficiency, these algorithms result in robust noise reduction of corrupted color images. When adapted to a particular scenery our senses may fool us: colors are misinterpreted, certain spatial patterns seem to fade out, and static objects appear to move in reverse. A mere empirical description of the mechanisms tuned to color, texture, and motion may tell us where these visual illusions come from. However, such empirical models of gain control do not explain why these mechanisms work in this apparently dysfunctional manner. Hot spots and gluon field fluctuations as causes of eccentricity in small systems

We calculate eccentricities in high energy proton-nucleus collisions, by calculating correlation functions of the energy density field of the Glasma immediately after the collision event at proper time tau = 0. We separately consider the effects of color charge and geometrical hot spot fluctuations, analytically performing the averages over both in a dilute-dense limit. We show that geometric fluctuations of hot spots inside the proton are the dominant source of eccentricity whereas color charge fluctuations only give a negligible correction. The size and number of hot spots are the most important parameters characterizing the eccentricities.

We compute the differential yield for quark anti-quark dijet production in high-energy electron-proton and electron-nucleus collisions at small $x$ as a function of the relative momentum $\boldsymbol{P}_\perp$ and momentum imbalance $\boldsymbol{k}_\perp$ of the dijet system for different photon virtualities $Q^2$, and study the elliptic and quadrangular anisotropies in the relative angle between $\boldsymbol{P}_\perp$ and $\boldsymbol{k}_\perp$. We investigate theories in which the technifermions in higher dimensional representations of the technicolor gauge group dynamically break the electroweak symmetry of the standard model. For the two-index symmetric representation of the gauge group the lowest number of techniflavors needed to render the underlying gauge theory quasi conformal is two. We confront the models with the recent electroweak precision measurements and demonstrate that the two technicolor theory is a valid candidate for a dynamical breaking of the electroweak symmetry.
