Test para la detección de anómalos cromáticos tipo Deután

El material consiste en un programa para entorno MATLAB que permite la detección y graduación de anomalías cromáticas tanto congénitas como adquiridas de tipo Deután mediante una tarea de igualación de colores. Además existe un archivo pdf se han incluido las instrucciones y el fundamento del test de igualación de color. This project contains a programm with a function for MATLAB that allows the detection and grading of acquired and congenital deutan color vision defects by means of a color matching task. A PDF file with instructions and a description of the basis of the test has been included.

Nerve agent simulant detection by using chromogenic triaryl methane cation probes

Two triaryl methane cations have been used as probes for colorimetric detection of nerve agent simulants. Buffered mixed aqueous solutions of 1 and 2 showed bathochromic shifts in the presence of DCNP (diethylcyanophosphonate) and DCP (diethylchlorophosphate). The colour modulation can be observed to the naked eye. Appropriate mechanisms for the recognition event are proposed. © 2012 Elsevier Ltd.
Thymidylate synthase polymorphism and microsatellite instability: association in colorectal cancer.

5-Fluorouracil (5FU) is the main drug used for the treatment of colorectal cancer (CRC) and Thymidilate Synthase (TS) is its target enzyme. TS gene has regulatory tandemly repeated sequences in its 5'' and 3''untraslated region (5''-3'' UTR). CRC often shows a kind of genomic instability called Microsatellite Instability (MSI) that is associated with TS levels and survival. Our data show that the genotype 2R/2R (homozygosity for 2 tandem repeat sequences in the 5''UTR) is more frequently associated with MSI+ and lower TS levels. Background Research evidence has established the beneficial effects of diet in cancer prevention; various epidemiological studies have suggested that olive oil component could play a role in decreasing cancer risk. This systematic review and meta-analysis aims to investigate the association between olive oil consumption, cancer risk and prognosis. Se reivindica el nombre Teucrium × bicoloreum Pau ex C. Vicioso para el nototaxon producto del cruce natural entre T. expassum Pau y T. ronnigeri Sennen. Se comentan las relaciones morfológicas con ambos parentales y las afinidades taxonónicas con aquellos congéneres más estrechamente emparentado. Esta nueva interpretación permite separar a las plantas valencianas respecto del complejo de formas de distribución bética, tradicionalmente adscritas a T. bicoloreum auct. pl. non Pau ex C. Vicioso. Se aportan nuevos datos sobre su presencia en la Comunidad Valenciana y algunos aspectos relacionados con su ecología.
