We investigated child, family, and environmental factors associated with young children’s perceptions of locomotor (LM) and object control (OC) skills. The participants comprised 472 children (6.22 ± 0.63) and their parents. The children were assessed for their perception of motor competence in LM and OC skills (using the pictorial scale of Perceived Movement Skill Competence for young children), and actual motor competence (Test of Gross Motor Development 3rd edition and Körperkoordinationstest Für Kinder). Binocular vision alterations after refractive and cataract surgery: a review.

To review binocular and accommodative disorders documented after corneal or intraocular refractive surgery, in normal healthy prepresbyopic patients. A bibliographic revision was performed; it included works published before 1st July 2017 where accommodation and/or binocularity was assessed following any type of refractive surgical procedure. The search in Pubmed yielded 1273 papers, 95 of which fulfilled the inclusion criteria. Few publications reporting binocular vision and/or accommodative changes after refractive surgery in normal subjects were found. Psychometric properties of the MOBITEC-GP mobile application for real-life mobility assessment in older adults

Aim of this study was to test the reliability and validity of the life-space measures and walking speed delivered by the MOBITEC-GP app. Participants underwent several supervised walking speed assessments as well as a 1-week life-space assessment during two assessment sessions 9 days apart. Fifty-seven older adults (47.4% male, mean age= 75.3 (±5.9) years) were included in the study. The MOBITEC-GP app showed moderate to excellent test-retest reliability (ICCs between 0.584 and 0.920) and validity (ICCs between 0.468 and 0.950) of walking speed measurements of 50 meters and above and of most 1-week life-space parameters, including life-space area, time spent out-of-home, and action range. Critical studies have focused on the comparison between Leopardi and Eminescu till the beginning of the ’900 from different points of view. This paper shows, according to a textual comparison, that it is possible to reevaluate their affinity on the basis of the confrontation with Schopenhauer’s philosophy and the concept of pessimism to achieve some aspects, until now not very studied and unfounded, such as the topic of death’s sweetness, the relation between ‘calm’ and the ‘tempest’, female figures, melancholy, pastoralist culture and, in conclusion, the thinking about civilization and national identity.

La presente investigación analiza, a partir de textos cubanos actuales, un tipo de construcciones que proponemos denominar «secuencias ponderadoras de identificación con como». Se explica su funcionamiento en calidad de construcción lingüística peculiar mediante la descripción e interpretación de sus características morfosintácticas y semánticas. By examining current Cuban texts, this study analyzes a type of constructions which are proposed to be denominated 'emphatic sequences of identification with como'. It tries to explain these sequences as a peculiar linguistic construction by means of the description and interpretation of their morphosyntactic and semantic characteristics.

The magnesium support with the formula MgCl 2 (THF) 0.32 (Et 2 AlCl) 0.36 was used for immobilization of salen complexes of titanium [Ti(salen)Cl 2 , Ti(salen(O-Me) 2 )Cl 2 ]. The effects of the catalyst composition (i.e. type of titanium complex and type of activator), polymerization temperature, polymerization time, and the effect of comonomer (1-octene) on the activity of the obtained supported catalysts, on the polymer characteristics (molecular weight, molecular weight distribution, melting point), and on the polymer morphology were studied.
