Nuorten miesten kirjeitse ohjailemat seurustelusuhteet 1800-luvun lopun sisäsuomalaisella maaseudulla

Artikkelissa tarkastellaan 1800-luvun Keuruun käräjäkunnassa, sisäsuomalaisella maaseudulla eläneiden nuorten miesten ja naisten seurustelusuhteiden kehittymistä kohti avioliittoa ja sitä, kuinka tälle tielle alkoi kasautua ongelmia. Poverty Permanence Among European Youth

Previous studies suggest that Scandinavian countries are the ones with the highest rates of youth poverty in Europe. This somewhat unexpected finding prompts the question whether the incidence of poverty is an appropriate measure of youth disadvantage. Instead of considering poverty rates we define here youth disadvantage in terms of the number of periods an individual is recorded to be below the poverty line. Using the European Community Household Panel, individuals are classified into different groups of poverty permanence, each reflecting severity of social disadvantage. 1. In vertebrates, thyroid hormones (THs) play an important role in the regulation of growth, development, metabolism, photoperiodic responses and migration. Maternally transferred THs are important for normal early-phase embryonic development when embryos are not able to produce endogenous THs.
