Algorithms for classification are proposed based on criteria (information entropyand its production). The feasibility of replacing a given anaesthetic by similar ones in thecomposition of a complex drug is studied. Ranunculus sceleratus is a widespread species with unique toxicological and pharmacological activities. The present study seeks to assess this species' ability, both in vitro and in vivo, to modulate processes involved in inflammations. To this end, different extracts from the aerial parts of the plant were tested in several models of acute inflammation induced by tetradecanoylphorbol acetate (TPA), arachidonic acid (AA), and carrageenan, as well as in two models of delayed hypersensitivity induced by oxazolone and dinitrofluorobencene (DNFB). In this paper we present a methodology and tool for rapid prototyping of real time image processing applications. We describe our design flow of multiprocessor system on chip (MPSoC) architectures based on hardware/software components. This methodology provides automated methods to specify, generate the hardware, software, and the architectural interfaces between them. AbstractThe effects of subcutaneously or intraperitoneally administered dextran sulphate (DXS) (5nmg/kg) on the subseguent 1 h localization of intravenously injected radiolabelled lymph node cells was investigated in complement deficient mice which lack C5.DXS proved to be equally as potent in depressing cell localizzation in deficient as compared to normal mice. These findings. indicate that the terminal complement components are not, essential for DXS activity.
Three-Component Synthesis of α-Aminoperoxides Using Primary and Secondary Dialkylzinc Reagents with O2 and α-Amido Sulfones

A straightforward strategy for the synthesis of unprecedented α-aminoperoxides bearing primary and secondary alkylperoxide substituents is described. Commercially available dialkylzinc reagents are oxidized with molecular oxygen and the consequent peroxide species react with stable (hetero)aromatic and aliphatic α-amido sulfones in excellent yields (>90%). The now available α-aminoperoxides are of potential interest in medicinal chemistry, specifically for the synthesis of antimalarial compounds. Moreover, modification of the reaction conditions selectively leads to N,O-acetals in good yields.
Metal- and Reagent-Free Electrochemical Synthesis of Alkyl Arylsulfonates in a Multi-Component Reaction.

Abstract This work presents the first electrochemical preparation of alkyl arylsulfonates by direct anodic oxidation of electron‐rich arenes. The reaction mechanism features a multi‐component reaction consisting of electron‐rich arenes, an alcohol of choice and excess SO2 in an acetonitrile‐HFIP reaction mixture. In‐situ formed monoalkyl sulfites are considered as key intermediates with bifunctional purpose. Firstly, this species functions as nucleophile and secondly, excellent conductivity is provided. Several primary and secondary alcohols and electron‐rich arenes are implemented in this reaction to form the alkyl arylsulfonates in yields up to 73 % with exquisite selectivity. Boron‐doped…
