[EN] In this paper we prove the existence of strong solutions for the stationary Benard-Marangoni problem in a finite domain flat on the top, bifurcating from the basic heat conductive state. The Benard-Marangoni problem is a physical phenomenon of thermal convection in which the effects of buoyancy and surface tension are taken into account. Publisher Summary Preliminary studies have been performed, on the changes of cortical rCBF (Krypton- 85 Beta clearance technique) in response to a localized pressure applied to the cerebral cortex (suprasylvian gyrus) of 8 cats under Nembutal anesthesia (30 to 40 mg/kg bodyweight). No change in rCBF is found at regions as distant as the contralateral hemisphere. The increase of rCBF at the compressed site, during the compression, seems to be more marked in animals with higher blood (i.e. perfusion) pressure, and may be absent in cats with blood pressure of about 80 mm Hg. Excessive water sorption and low mechanical properties are a severe drawback in some biomedical applications of hyaluronic acid (HA). A way to improve these properties is here explored through the novel concept of nanohybrid hydrogels consisting of a HA matrix including different amounts of silica-derived species. This inorganic filler phase controls the mechanical and swelling properties of HA cross-linked matrices. This work reports on the physicochemical properties and in vitro cytotoxicity assessment of chitosan–calcium phosphate (Cs–CP) scaffolds for bone tissue engineering, which were synthesized by a novel biomimetic co-precipitation method. X-ray diffraction (XRD) along with scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analysis confirmed the porous morphology of the scaffolds and the amorphous nature of the inorganic phase with different crystallite sizes and the formation of various forms of calcium phosphate. Vengono riportati i principali risultati di una campagna sperimentale finalizzata alla caratterizzazione della risposta sotto carichi assiali ciclici di colonne di calcestruzzo a bassa resistenza con sezione circolare, quadrata e rettangolare, rinforzate con fibre di carbonio immerse in matrice cementizia (CFRCM). Sono state condotte prove di compressione assiale su 30 campioni di altezza 600 mm, 10 a sezione cilindrica di diametro 300 mm, 10 quadrata di lato 200 mm, e 10 rettangolare di lato 200x400 mm.
