ResumenEl burnout o «síndrome del trabajador quemado» ha demostrado tener una gran importancia en el campo de las ventas. Sin embargo, no se han encontrado estudios que analicen en profundidad su opuesto, el engagement. El presente trabajo trata de profundizar en los antecedentes y efectos de un concepto integrador de ambos opuestos denominado burnout-engagement. Concrete flood defences, erosion control structures, port and harbour facilities, and renewable energy infrastructure are increasingly being built in the world’s coastal regions. There is, however, strong evidence to suggest that these structures are poor surrogates for natural rocky shores, often supporting assemblages with lower species abundance and diversity. This paper develops and estimates a model to study the effect of improving the quality of commercial trade law on trade flows. We focus on improvements aimed to privately resolve disputes among trading partners: international commercial arbitration and conciliation. The main novelty of the model is to explicit the balance between the contractual quality of importer and exporter (contractual distance) in an environment with informational frictions (contractual noise). Pielgrzymka Ślązaków do Rzymu i Viterbo w 1967 r. Na drodze polsko-niemieckiego pojednania

W dniach od 11 do 21 maja 1967 r. grupa 641 niemieckich Ślązaków pielgrzymowała do Rzymu i Viterbo. Ich celem było wspólne dziękczynienie za dar kanonizacji św. Jadwigi, jakiej w 1267 r. dokonał w Viterbo papież Klemens IV. W taki sposób chciano publicznie zamanifestować obecność Ślązaków w przestrzeni publicznej. W Rzymie i Viterbo modlono się wspólnie za śląską ojczyznę i śląskie rodziny, podzielone poglądami politycznymi, narodowymi i wreszcie żelazną kurtyną. Remembering nature through art : Hölderlin and the poetic representation of life

ABSTRACT For Friedrich Hölderlin, the mediatory role of aesthetics was central to overcoming the challenges of modern life, in particular human beings’ antagonistic relationship to nature. This article claims that Hölderlin preserves and improves what is true in Kant’s conception of the beautiful: that the experience of beauty concerns recognizing our dependence on nature, and that this recognition resonates in the works of artistic geniality as well. The article furthermore argues that the twentieth-century philosopher Theodor W. We examined motivation and behaviors in women's active job search in Spain and the gender gap in this process. The current crisis in Spain and the increase in the number of unemployed people have revealed new inequalities that particularly affect women's employability, especially the most vulnerable women. This paper addresses two exploratory studies: the first study analyzes gender differences in the active job search using a sample of 236 Spanish participants; the second study explores the heterogeneity and diversity of unemployed women in a sample of 235 Spanish women.
