Il capitolo propone una riflessione sul conflitto urbano da una prospettiva geografica, a partire da un caso studio rilevato nel 2014 nel quartiere Barbès a Parigi, dove, in occasione della qualificazione agli ottavi di finale della nazionale algerina ai Mondiali di calcio disputati in Brasile, molti tifosi si ritrovarono per festeggiare il risultato nel corso di un’intera notte.
