Discriminating and simulating actions with the associative self-organising map

We propose a system able to represent others’ actions as well as to internally simulate their likely continuation from a partial observation. The approach presented here is the first step towards a more ambitious goal of endowing an artificial agent with the ability to recognise and predict others’ intentions. Durability of Dolutegravir-Based Regimens: A 5-Year Prospective Observational Study

This study evaluates the frequency and causes of dolutegravir (DTG) discontinuation along 5 years of follow-up, in both antiretroviral treatment (ART)-naive and experienced people living with HIV (PLWH). This is a prospective multi-center cohort study enrolling PLWH on DTG from July 2014 until November 2020. DTG-durability was investigated using the Kaplan-Meier survival curve. The Cox proportional-hazards model was used for estimating the hazard ratio (HR) of DTG discontinuation for any cause, and for adverse events (AEs). Discontinuation of proceedings under Article 59a of the Criminal Code is a new institution in Polish criminal law. This article discusses selected issues relating to the premises for the application of Article 59a of the Criminal Code in practice. In view of the use by the legislator in Article 59a of the Criminal Code of concepts with vague meanings, their possible interpretations were proposed. On the Landis conjecture for the fractional Schrödinger equation

In this paper, we study a Landis-type conjecture for the general fractional Schrödinger equation ((−P)s+q)u=0. As a byproduct, we also prove the additivity and boundedness of the linear operator (−P)s for non-smooth coefficents. For differentiable potentials q, if a solution decays at a rate exp (−∣x∣1+), then the solution vanishes identically. For non-differentiable potentials q, if a solution decays at a rate exp (−∣x∣4s−14s+), then the solution must again be trivial. The proof relies on delicate Carleman estimates. Quantitative Runge Approximation and Inverse Problems

In this short note we provide a quantitative version of the classical Runge approximation property for second order elliptic operators. This relies on quantitative unique continuation results and duality arguments. We show that these estimates are essentially optimal. As a model application we provide a new proof of the result from \cite{F07}, \cite{AK12} on stability for the Calder\'on problem with local data.

ABSTRACT We assessed the tolerability and antitumor activity of solitomab, a bispecific T-cell engager (BiTE®) antibody construct targeting epithelial cell adhesion molecule (EpCAM). Patients with relapsed/refractory solid tumors not amenable to standard therapy received solitomab as continuous IV infusion in a phase 1 dose-escalation study with six different dosing schedules. The primary endpoint was frequency and severity of adverse events (AEs). Secondary endpoints included pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, immunogenicity, and antitumor activity. Seizure following the Use of the COX-2 Inhibitor Etoricoxib

We describe a case of epileptic seizures occurring after the use of a COX-2 inhibitor. A 61-year-old man was admitted to our department because of a generalized tonic-clonic seizure. EEG showed generalized slowdown of the activity. Neuroimaging and blood samples studies did not evidence alterations, but a careful pharmacological history revealed that the patient had taken the COX-2 inhibitor etoricoxib to treat lumbago few days before the onset of clinical symptoms. No seizures were reported after etoricoxib discontinuation and an EEG resulted to be normal two months after this. Conclusion. Abstract Background : Recent evidence suggests that duloxetine may increase the effect of warfarin, thereby increasing the possibility of bleeding. However, a MEDLINE search for articles published between 1980 and May 2007 (terms: duloxetine , anticoagulants , acenocoumarol , and interaction ; no language restriction) did not yield any reports of an interaction between concomitant use of duloxetine and acenocoumarol.
