The effects of mobile banking application user satisfaction and system usage on bank-customer relationships

This study examines mobile banking (m-banking) application usage in Finland by linking it with customer-bank relationship development. Specifically, we examine how usage is related to relationship commitment, overall satisfaction, intention to recommend the bank and future intentions to remain with the bank. A survey was used to collect data from experienced mbanking application users. In total, 273 valid responses were received. The results support the hypotheses and reveal that user satisfaction with m-banking application usage has a strong positive association with usage of m-banking applications. An autonomous automaton is a finite automaton with output in which the input alphabet has cardinality one when special reduced. We define the transition from automata to semigroups via a representation successful if given two incomparable automata (neither simulate the other), the semigroups representing the automata are distinct. We show that representation by the transition semigroup is not successful. We then consider a representation of automata by semigroups of partial transformations. We present a vacuum ultraviolet laser source by four-wave mixing in mercury vapour based on solid-state laser systems. Maximum powers of 6μW were achieved with an increase of four orders of magnitude in efficiency.
Fault detection for discrete-time Markov jump linear systems with partially known transition probabilities

In this article, the fault detection (FD) problem for a class of discrete-time Markov jump linear system (MJLS) with partially known transition probabilities is investigated. The proposed systems are more general, which relax the traditional assumption in Markov jump systems that all the transition probabilities must be completely known. A residual generator is constructed and the corresponding FD is formulated as an H ∞ filtering problem by which the error between residual and fault are minimised in the H ∞ sense. Liver Steatosis and Fibrosis in OSA patients After Long-term CPAP Treatment: A Preliminary Ultrasound Study.

In cases of morbid obesity, obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) was associated with biopsy-proven liver damage. The role of non-invasive techniques to monitor liver changes during OSA treatment with continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) is unknown. We used non-invasive ultrasound techniques to assess liver steatosis and fibrosis in severe OSA patients at diagnosis and during long-term CPAP treatment. Fifteen consecutive patients with severe OSA (apnea hypopnea index 52.5 ± 19.1/h) were studied by liver ultrasound and elastography (Fibroscan) at 6-mo (n = 3) or 1-y (n = 12) follow-up.
