Kvalifikācijas darba ietvaros tika veikta divu apdrošināšanas sistēmas komponentu modernizācija uz .Net Core standartu, saglabājot esošo funkcionalitāti. Izstrādātās komponentes nodrošina iespēju sistēmas administratoram apskatīt esošas sistēmas lietotājus, veidot jaunus lietotājus, pārvaldīt lietotajā grupas un lomas, ka arī sistēmas lietotajam apskatīt polises apdrošināšanas atlīdzības un tai pievienotus failus. JIRA platformas pieteikumu vizualizācijas sistēma

Kvalifikācija darba ietvaros tika izveidota sistēma, kas spēj attēlot JIRA platformas kanban paneļus daudz uzskatāmākā veidā. Sistēmas administratoriem ir iespēja izveidot prezentācijas no sev interesējošiem paneļiem, lai varētu vieglāk sekot līdzi projektu norisei. Sistēma sastāv no divām daļām – servera puses, kurā tiek veikti pieprasījumi no JIRA platformas un apstrādāti saņemtie dati, kā arī lietotāja puses, kurā tiek attēlotas paneļu prezentācijas, kā arī administratoriem pieejamā prezentāciju rediģēšana un statistika. Projektu veidoja divi LU studenti, katram atbildot par vienu no divām daļām.

Spin filtering by proximity effects at hybridized interfaces in spin-valves with 2D graphene barriers

We report on spin transport in state-of-the-art epitaxial monolayer graphene based 2D-magnetic tunnel junctions (2D-MTJs). In our measurements, supported by ab-initio calculations, the strength of interaction between ferromagnetic electrodes and graphene monolayers is shown to fundamentally control the resulting spin signal. In particular, by switching the graphene/ferromagnet interaction, spin transport reveals magneto-resistance signal MR > 80% in junctions with low resistance × area products. Descriptions based only on a simple K-point filtering picture (i.e. MR increase with the number of layers) are not sufficient to predict the behavior of our devices. We emphasize that hybridization …

Empowerment comes at a time when global competition and change require people to take initiative and be innovative. Based on the active, persistent, and change-oriented behaviors associated with psychological empowerment, the chapter states that empowerment can contribute to entrepreneurship. The dimensions of empowerment that suggest a theoretical and empirical link with entrepreneurial behavior are discussed. Several propositions regarding the interplay between empowerment and entrepreneurship are formulated. Happy and proactive ?:The role of hedonic and eudaimonic well-being in business owners’ personal initiative

This two-year study with 122 business owners examined the link between affective well-being and task-oriented as well as relationship-oriented personal initiative (PI). We tested two complementary models explaining the link between well-being and PI: (1) broaden-and-build theory and (2) self-regulation as limited resource approach. In line with current research on well-being, we differentiated between hedonic and eudaimonic well-being using life satisfaction and vigor as indicators. Hierarchical regression analyses showed that only vigor predicted both forms of PI. Extensions and corona decompositions of low-dimensional intrinsic Lipschitz graphs in Heisenberg groups

This note concerns low-dimensional intrinsic Lipschitz graphs, in the sense of Franchi, Serapioni, and Serra Cassano, in the Heisenberg group $\mathbb{H}^n$, $n\in \mathbb{N}$. For $1\leq k\leq n$, we show that every intrinsic $L$-Lipschitz graph over a subset of a $k$-dimensional horizontal subgroup $\mathbb{V}$ of $\mathbb{H}^n$ can be extended to an intrinsic $L'$-Lipschitz graph over the entire subgroup $\mathbb{V}$, where $L'$ depends only on $L$, $k$, and $n$. We further prove that $1$-dimensional intrinsic $1$-Lipschitz graphs in $\mathbb{H}^n$, $n\in \mathbb{N}$, admit corona decompositions by intrinsic Lipschitz graphs with smaller Lipschitz constants.
