Daudzi pētījumi ietvera rediģēšanas tēmu, uzsverot tās nozīmi rakstīšanas procesā. Tomēr, maz pētījumu tika veikti gan par pašrediģēšanas, gan vienaudžu rediģēšanas prasmēm, un neviens pētījums neizskatīja rediģēšanu, lai uzlabotu profesionālās vidusskolas skolēnu, kuri apgūst angļu valodu, kā svešvalodu, rakstīšanas prasmes. Crop type and altitude are the main drivers of species composition of arable weed vegetation in Tajikistan

Summary The influence of broad-scale environmental factors on the species composition of segetal weed communities in Tajikistan was investigated. The research was conducted throughout the country, analysing plots of root crops as well as cereals from all phytogeographical regions of Tajikistan, with the exception of the eastern Pamir. The study was based on 440 phytosociological relevees sampled between 2009 and 2013 and analysed using direct and indirect ordinations. We quantified the role of a main food resource, sedimenting organic matter (SOM), relative to oxygen (DO) and temperature (TEMP) in structuring profundal macroinvertebrate assemblages in boreal lakes. SOM from 26 basins of 11 Finnish lakes was analysed for quantity (sedimentation rates), quality (C:N:P stoichiometry) and origin (carbon stable isotopes, δ13C). Hypolimnetic oxygen and temperature were measured from each site during summer stratification. The effective cross section for double parton scattering within a holographic AdS/QCD approach

A first attempt to apply the AdS/QCD framework for a bottom-up approach to the evaluation of the effective cross section for double parton scattering in proton-proton collisions is presented. The main goal is the analytic evaluation of the dependence of the effective cross section on the longitudinal momenta of the involved partons, obtained within the holographic Soft-Wall model. If measured in high-energy processes at hadron colliders, this momentum dependence could open a new window on 2-parton correlations in a proton.

Bakalaura darba “Latgaliešu rakstu valodas prievārdu da, iz, apleik atbilsme latviešu literārajā valodā” mērķis ir pētīt un salīdzināt no latviešu literārās valodas atšķirīgus prievārdus latgaliešu rakstu valodā. Pētījuma uzdevumi ir teorētisko materiālu apkopošana, valodas piemēru vākšana un analizēšana gan latviešu literārajā, gan latgaliešu rakstu valodā, pētot kā latgaliešu rakstu valodas prievārdi atbilst latviešu literārās valodas prievārdiem. Piemēru atlasei izmantots “Līdzsvarotais mūsdienu latviešu valodas tekstu korpuss 2018”, kā arī “Mūsdienu latgaliešu tekstu korpuss”. Darbs sastāv no ievada, saīsinājumu saraksta, četrām nodaļām, secinājumiem un izmantotās literatūras saraksta.

Beyond Tandem Analysis: Joint Dimension Reduction and Clustering in R

We present the R package clustrd which implements a class of methods that combine dimension reduction and clustering of continuous or categorical data. In particular, for continuous data, the package contains implementations of factorial K-means and reduced K-means; both methods combine principal component analysis with K-means clustering. For categorical data, the package provides MCA K-means, i-FCB and cluster correspondence analysis, which combine multiple correspondence analysis with K-means. Two examples on real data sets are provided to illustrate the usage of the main functions.

The text of the article is an analysis of Gregory of Nazianzus’ comments on Christian perfection. They were selected from his letters written in his family regions after returning from Constantinople, where he occupied for two years the position in the episcopal capital. It was a period of almost ten years of his life, until his death in 390, in which he contacted many people mainly through letters, because weak health prevented him from traveling frequently. <em>Dionysia involucrata</em> Zaprjag. (Primulaceae) is known as critically endangered endemic species of Hissar Mountains in Tajikistan. It is reported from few localities mainly in Varzob River valley and its tributaries. The species inhabits steep or overhanging faces of granite rocks in narrow river gorges. During the research all known populations of <em>D. involucrata</em> were examined in respect of the habitat conditions and species composition of vegetation plots.
