These chemical signals often consist of environmental cues mixed with species-specific signals-pheromones-emitted by conspecifics. During their life, insects can use pheromones to aggregate, disperse, choose a mate, or find the most suitable food source on which to lay eggs. Before pupariation, larvae of several Drosophila species migrate to food sources depending on their composition and the presence of pheromones. Resumen Objetivo: Describir los resultados de la aplicación del European Quality Instrument for Health Promotion (EQUIHP) en el Programa MIH salud y la percepción de su utilidad por el equipo ejecutor de este. Método: Estudio de evaluación aplicando EQUIHP a un programa de promoción de la salud. Autocumplimentación de EQUIHP por ocho mujeres y dos hombres del equipo MIH salud, y realización de dos entrevistas grupales con este equipo sobre la percepción de su utilidad. Interpersonal Distance Regulation and Approach-Avoidance Reactions Are Altered in Psychopathy

In this study, we examined the impact of psychopathy on approach-avoidance reactions and interpersonal distance (IPD) in response to social cues. We selected a student sample and measured psychopathy via self-report. Participants were immersed in a virtual environment in which a virtual person displayed either angry or happy facial expressions. In the first experiment, participants had to walk toward the virtual person until a comfortable IPD had been reached. In the second experiment, participants had to push or pull a joystick in response to the facial expression of the virtual person. This paper presents the concept of Well-being, defined as the cognitive and affective evaluation that a person makes of his/her own life. The interest is centered in understanding what makes them happy and what generates well-being among boys and girls.
