The Greenlandic oral story-telling tradition, Oqaluttuaq, meaning “history,” “legend,” and “narrative,” is recognized as an important entry point into Arctic collective memory. The graphic artist Nuka K. Godtfredsen and his literary and scientific collaborators have used the term as the title of graphic narratives published from 2009 to 2018, and focused on four moments or ‘snippets’ from Greenland’s history (from the periods of Saqqaq, late Dorset, Norse settlement, and European colonization). Promocijas darba tēma ir vēstures priekšstatu par Livoniju izcelsmes un formēšanās procesa īpatnības 13. gadsimta historiogrāfijā. Izpētes fokusā ir hronikas, annāles un citi historiogrāfijas teksti, kas radīti ārpus Livonijas laikā starp 1195./1196. un 1280. gadu. Viduslaiku Eiropas 13. gadsimta historiogrāfijā samērā reti sastopami notikumu apraksti, kas atspoguļo Livonijas sociālo, politisko un kultūras integrāciju viduslaiku pasaulē. La cantina Rocca di Frassinello, progettata da Renzo Piano nel cuore della Maremma Toscana, costituisce uno dei massimi esempi di come la contemporaneità, nelle sue forme più essenziali, possa fondersi perfettamente con il paesaggio naturale circostante senza alterarne gli equilibri e la storia ma anzi valorizzandolo in maniera magistrale. Il centro pulsante della cantina è la grande barricaia ipogea nella quale riposano fino a 2.500 barriques di rovere francese disposte su gradinate digradanti. La particolare configurazione a gradoni della barricaia sembra richiamare l'impianto planimetrico di una forma architettonica legata all'antica Grecia, il bouleuterion. Un'iscrizione da Teos attesta…

In this article, I firstly argue that femicide is a word that indicates the psychological and physical violence against women because they belong to the female gender. I analyze in particular the femicide cases that took place in the border between Ciudad Juarez and Texas from 1993 until now, in addition to the cases on the border between Tijuana and Baja California. During this period more than 700 women were murdered in the border area between Ciudad Juarez and El Paso, still the criminals of these brutal homicides are unknown. Esta Historia del testimonio chileno describe críticamente la cambiante función que la palabra de los supervivientes de los campos de concentración chilenos ha desempeñado en la creación de imágenes y relatos de la violencia del régimen de Pinochet desde los meses posteriores al golpe hasta la actualidad. En los años que siguieron al golpe de 1973, los supervivientes unieron su voz a las múltiples plataformas de denuncia en el exilio que trataban de articular un amplio frente internacional contra la consolidación de la dictadura.
