The role of «perceived loss» aversion on credit screening: an experiment

A major characteristic of credit markets is information asymmetry.To combat its problems, as credit rationing, principals can use a menu of contracts to screen clients with different risk level. We conduct a laboratory experiment to address an important question for such settings —does the framing of the offered menu of contracts interfere with the self-selection mechanism? The answer is yes. We find subjects' choices shift when the same (positive) outcomes of the same menu of contracts are presented in two different frames. The Influence of Oil Price on Renewable Energy Stock Prices: An Analysis for Entrepreneurs

Abstract This study investigates the relationship between oil price fluctuations and renewable energy stock returns using daily data on Brent crude oil prices and global renewable energy stock market indices between 29 November 2010 and 18 February 2020. The investigation is based on the existing evidence on positive correlations between stock prices and oil prices, but it also considers the shift from non-renewable to renewable sources of energy. ESCAPE TIMES IN STOCK MARKETS

We study the statistical properties of escape times for stock price returns in the Wall Street market. In particular we get the escape time distribution for real data from daily transactions and for three models: (i) the Wiener process with drift and a constant market volatility, (ii) Heston and (iii) GARCH models, where the volatility is a stochastic process. We find that the first model is unable to catch all the features of the escape time distribution of real data. Moreover, the Heston model describes the probability density function for both return and escape times better than the GARCH model.

Tumor escape to immune system surveillance is one of the reasons why human cancer achieves to grow. In my research team, we aim to study CD4 T cell populations and their functions in the context of cancer. My work was precisely to determine if the results obtained in mice could be transposable in humans, in the context of breast cancer. . We first unraveled that tumor infiltrating Th17 cells could inhibit effector and cytotoxic functions of Th1 and CD8 T cells in an ectonucleotidase-dependent manner.
