Così il muro diventa il simbolo di un duplice metafora: del costituzionalismo, nella visione occidentale quale separazione dei poteri; e della società chiusa e liberticida, quando il regime totalitario recinge e opprime gli individui e i loro diritti fondamentali.

Okazionālismu tulkošana

Maģistra darbā tiek pētīta okazionālismu tulkošana. Pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot, vai okazionālismus ir iespējams veiksmīgi pārnest no vienas valodas citā, neattālinoties no tulkojamā darinājuma oriģinālās nozīmes un tā, lai arī mērķvalodā tie būtu uzskatāmi par jauniem darinājumiem. Pētījumam tika izraudzīti latviešu žurnālista Lato Lapsas darinātie/lietotie okazionālismi. Kopā tika pārtulkoti 56 okazionālismi, iekļauti kontekstā. Kas attiecas uz pielietotajām pētījuma metodēm, nepieciešamā informācija tika iegūta, apskatot un apkopojoši analizējot pieejamos teorijas avotus saistībā ar okazionālismu tulkošanu un vārdu darināšanu latviešu valodā. The analysis of the volatile constituents of “Vastedda della valle del Belìce”, a typical Sicilian pasta filata cheese, was performed using solid phase microextraction and high-resolution gas chromatography/mass spectrometry. The research aimed to verify if the volatile fraction, determinant for cheese flavor, differs among producers and/or production seasons. The samples were provided by four producers from the area of the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) production, during two different seasons of production. Within higher education, internationalisation is increasingly important for students and academics alike. In this context, English as the lingua franca has gained prominence. The ostensible ubiquity of English rests on a particular rendering of the language as unitary, fixed, and undifferentiated. Activation of wooden vats with selected lactic acid bacteria for the year-round production of traditional Vastedda-like cheese

Vastedda is a pasta filata cheese made from raw ewes’ milk without the addition of starter cultures. Cheese production is carried out in wooden vats characterized by microbial biofilms hosting lactic acid bacteria (LAB) responsible for the acidification of the curds. Vastedda cheese was traditionally produced during the summer season, but it is currently produced throughout the year.
