Drug resistant focal epilepsy can be treated by resecting the epileptic focus requiring a precise focus localisation using stereoelectroencephalography (SEEG) probes. As commercial SEEG probes offer only a limited spatial resolution, probes of higher channel count and design freedom enabling the incorporation of macro and microelectrodes would help increasing spatial resolution and thus open new perspectives for investigating mechanisms underlying focal epilepsy and its treatment. International audience; An acid Cu–Sn deposition bath was developed, and copper and copper–tin coatings were electrodeposited on polycrystalline platinum. The effect of gelatin on copper and copper–tin electrodeposition from acid sulfate solutions has been investigated by a variety of electrochemical methods (voltammetric studies and electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance) as well as by morphologic technique (scanning electron microscopy). The electrochemical results have shown that the overpotential is required when gelatin is added, indicating the presence of interaction between the additive and the coating. This compound features eight converging hydrogen bond donors along the ring, namely four amide NH and four triazole CH groups, which enable 2 to engage in interactions with anions. While fully deprotonated sulfate anions exhibit only moderate affinity for 2, protonated anions such as dihydrogenpyrophosphate and dihydrogenphosphate anions are strongly bound. Bakalaura darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 30 lappusēm. Tas satur 14 attēlus, 17 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem. Darba mērķis bija novērtēt kā kontaktlēcas ietekmē acī noklīdušo gaismu. Pētījumā piedalījās 30 dalībnieki, kuriem ar C- Quant Oculus mērierīci tika nomērīta gaismas izkliede, ar jaunām silikonhidrogēla kontaktlēcām, lietotām silikonhidrogēla kontaktlēcām un bez kontaktlēcām. Ar anketas palīdzību tika subjektīvi noskaidrota katra dalībnieka kontaktlēcu kopšana un lietošana. Rezultāti pierādīja, ka lietotas silikonhidrogēla kontaktlēcas izraisa lielāku acī noklīdušo gaismu, savukārt pētījuma dalībniekiem ar jaunām silikonhidrogēla kontaktlēcām un bez kontaktlēcām nav novēro…

Background: Patients with age-related white matter changes (ARWMC) frequently present a gait disorder, depression and cognitive impairment. Our aims are to define which alterations in the gait parameters are associated with motor or neuro-psychological impairment and to assess the role of motor, mood or cognitive dysfunction in explaining the variance of the gait parameters.
