Maģistra darbā “Publiskas lietas, kas var piederēt privātpersonai” ir analizēts modificētais privātīpašums, kas konstatējams gadījumā, kad publiska lieta vai tās daļa atrodas privātpersonas īpašumā. Darbā pētīti privāto ūdeņu publiski tiesiskie lietošanas tiesību aprobežojumi, tauvas joslas lietošanas tiesību aprobežojumi un īpaši aizsargājamo dabas teritoriju lietošanas tiesību ierobežojumi. Darbā konstatēts privāto ūdeņu, kuros zvejas tiesības pieder valstij, tauvas joslas un īpaši aizsargājamo dabas teritoriju piešķīrums un publiskās lietas veids. Izpētīts modificētā privātīpašuma parastās un sevišķās lietošanas apjoms un tā ietekme uz īpašnieka lietošanas tiesību apjoma samazināšanos.

Poly(lactic acid) or PLA is currently considered as one of the most promising substitutes of conventional plastics, with low environmental impact, especially for food packaging applications. Nevertheless, some drawbacks, such as high permeability to oxygen, are still limiting its industrial applications. Jau gandrīz gadsimtu plekstei ir zināmas vairošanās stratēģijas atšķirības Baltijas jūra. Jaunākie pētījumi apliecinājuši, ka tie nav ekotipi, bet ir atšķirīgas sugas. Iepriekš zināma bija tikai Eiropas plekste (Platichthys flesus), kas nārsto dziļūdens nogāzēs ar pelaģiskeim ikriem. Jaunatklātā suga Baltijas plekste (Platichtys solemdali) vairojas piekrastē ar bentiskiem ikriem un tā ir vienīgā endēmā zivs suga Baltijas jūrā. Līdz šim sugas atšķirt var tikai ar ikru morfoloģiju un ģenētiskajām analīzem.
