Il tempo nuovo dei beni culturali, dell'economia e dei territori
2021
The essay examines the evolution of the relationship between culture and economy in the legal debate, in the perspective of the progressive overcoming of the opposing tendencies to the mixture between the two areas in relation to the growing dimension of the enhancement of cultural heritage, identifying the weaknesses of the discipline (regional ) the participation of cultural assets in the urban regeneration of territories
I beni culturali: tra tutela e valorizzazione economica
2018
This article describes the historical evolution of the protection and enhancement of the cultural heritage, in order to verify the possibility that the economic development of the territory is connected to the enhancement function, so that the enjoyment of cultural property can be considered a possibility for a territory to economically grow.
The protection of cultural heritage and the role of culture in promoting European integration
2019
This article analyzes the legal protection of cultural heritage and the role of cultural heritage in promoting European integration. From a legal perspective, the notion of culture stems from the preamble of the UNESCO Universal Declaration on Cultural Diversity and is considered as a fundamental norm; however, cultural rights have been an overlooked and often ignored category of human rights for decades. The article thus aims at studying such a complex legal issue both from the perspective of International Law as well as under European Law in order to understand the way culture fosters integration within the European Union.
Una strategia nazionale a difesa del Cyberspazio
2023
The article intends to propose an analysis about the state of the art of cyber security in Italy, paying particular attention to the main innovations contained in the National Cyberse…
Ombitasvir, paritaprevir, and ritonavir, with or without dasabuvir, plus ribavirin for patients with hepatitis C virus genotype 1 or 4 infection with…
2017
Summary Background We ran a compassionate use nationwide programme (ABACUS) to provide access to ombitasvir, paritaprevir, and ritonavir, with dasabuvir, plus ribavirin for hepatitis C virus (HCV) genotype 1 infection and ombitasvir, paritaprevir, and ritonavir, plus ribavirin for HCV genotype 4 infection in patients with cirrhosis at high risk of decompensation while approval of these regimens was pending in Italy. Methods In this prospective observational study, we collected data from a compassionate use nationwide programme from March 17, 2014, to May 28, 2015. Patients with HCV genotype 1 infection and cirrhosis at high risk of decompensation were given coformulated ombitasvir (25 mg), …
Enantio- and diastereocontrol in intermolecular cyclopropanation reaction of styrene catalyzed by dirhodium(II) complexes with bulky ortho-metalated …
2004
Enantiomerically pure dirhodium(II) complexes with ortho-metalated p-substituted aryl phosphines have been shown to be enantio- and diastereoselective in the cyclopropanation of styrene by ethyl diazoacetate. Enantioselectivities up to 91% and diastereoselectivities up to 90% are observed for ethyl cis-2-phenylcyclopropanecarboxylate. Les enjeux cognitifs et linguistiques du sujet parlant plurilingue en néoténie linguistique : le cas du locuteur chypriote-grec
2019
It is not realistic to claim that a speaker can use a language perfectly or that he /she has an excellent knowledge of whichever language, like many speakers like to claim when asked. It is true that a speaker may have some excellent linguistic skills, however cognitively speaking, this doesn’t say much. The cognitive relations that we maintain with the world’s languages are far beyond the linguistic dimension, excessively found in textbooks. Speaking a language means being able to exist in that language, in the sense that our being is there registered. We are led by our linguistic intuition to express ourselves and we do it spontaneously with respect to each language’s boundaries. However,…
Identification and characterization of amphiphysin II as a novel cellular interaction partner of the hepatitis C virus NS5A protein.
2003
The hepatitis C virus (HCV) NS5A protein is highly phosphorylated by cellular protein kinases. To study how NS5A might be integrated in cellular kinase signalling, we isolated phosphoproteins from HuH-7 hepatoma cells that specifically interacted with recombinant NS5A protein. Subsequent mass spectrometry identified the adaptor protein amphiphysin II as a novel interaction partner of NS5A. Mutational analysis revealed that complex formation is primarily mediated by a proline-rich region in the C-terminal part of NS5A, which interacts with the amphiphysin II Src homology 3 domain. Importantly, we could further demonstrate specific co-precipitation and cellular co-localization of endogenous a…
Interaction of Mitogen-activated Protein Kinases with the Kinase Interaction Motif of the Tyrosine Phosphatase PTP-SL Provides Substrate Specificity …
1999
ERK1 and ERK2 associate with the tyrosine phosphatase PTP-SL through a kinase interaction motif (KIM) located in the juxtamembrane region of PTP-SL. A glutathione S-transferase (GST)-PTP-SL fusion protein containing the KIM associated with ERK1 and ERK2 as well as with p38/HOG, but not with the related JNK1 kinase or with protein kinase A or C. Accordingly, ERK2 showed in vitro substrate specificity to phosphorylate GST-PTP-SL in comparison with GST-c-Jun. Furthermore, tyrosine dephosphorylation of ERK2 by the PTP-SLDeltaKIM mutant was impaired. The in vitro association of ERK1/2 with GST-PTP-SL was highly stable; however, low concentrations of nucleotides partially dissociated the ERK1/2.P…
Impaired Transporter Associated with Antigen Processing (TAP) Function Attributable to a Single Amino Acid Alteration in the Peptide TAP Subunit TAP1
2003
Abstract The heterodimeric peptide transporter TAP belongs to the ABC transporter family. Sequence comparisons with the P-glycoprotein and cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator and the functional properties of selective amino acids in these ABC transporters postulated that the glutamic acid at position 263 and the phenylalanine at position 265 of the TAP1 subunit could affect peptide transporter function. To define the role of both amino acids, TAP1 mutants containing a deletion or a substitution to alanine at position 263 or 265 were generated and stably expressed in murine and human TAP1−/− cells. The different TAP1 mutants were characterized in terms of expression and funct…
