Nous considérons la transformation d’images omnidirectionnelles en Mélange de Gaussiennes Photométriquesn (MGP) comme primitives directes. Les contributions sont d’adapter l’optimisation de pose aux caméras omnidirectionnelles et de repenser les règles d’initialisation et d’optimisation du paramètre d’extension du MGP. Son estimation a largement été étudiée dans le cas des caméras perspectives. Par contre, très peu de travaux ont été effectués sur ce sujet pour les caméras catadioptriques, alors qu'elles sont très utiles, notamment, en navigation des robots mobiles. The primary goal of this thesis is to develop generic motion and structure algorithms for images taken from constructed scenes by various types of central imaging systems including perspective, fish-eye and catadioptric systems. As-suming that the mapping between the image pixels and their 3D rays in space is known, instead of image planes, we work on image spheres (projection of the images on a unit sphere) which enable us to present points over the entire viewsphere suitable for presenting omnidirectional images. Search for signatures of magnetically-induced alignment in the arrival directions measured by the Pierre Auger Observatory

We present the results of an analysis of data recorded at the Pierre Auger Observatory in which we search for groups of directionally-aligned events (or ‘multiplets’) which exhibit a correlation between arrival direc- tion and the inverse of the energy. These signatures are expected from sets of events coming from the same source after having been deflected by intervening coherent magnetic fields. The observation of several events from the same source would open the possibility to accurately reconstruct the position of the source and also measure the integral of the component of the magnetic field orthogonal to the trajectory of the cos- mic rays. Field-free one-dimensional alignment of ethylene molecule

International audience; We report an experimental study of non-adiabatic laser-induced molecular alignment of ethylene (C2H4) using a linearly polarized short laser pulse of moderate intensity. The information about the confinement of the C=C bond axis along the direction of the applied electric field is obtained by measuring the depolarization of a second short pulse of weak intensity interacting with the molecules after they have been exposed to the first pulse. This paper explores the poetry of Sinéad Morrissey (born in Portadown, Northern Ireland, in 1972), one of the most highly regarded of the younger generation of contemporary Irish poets.
