Digital media in blended coaching : interaction and distance presence in adult education

In this study were studied the dimensions and advantages of the digital media in the adult education and distance presence. The point of view and limiting of the study was coaching and the significance of face-to-face interaction in it. The study was partly based on my three earlier reports about the digital media in the direction of teaching training. The effects of technology-utilising rehabilitation on rehabilitees' physical activity: a prospective cohort study

The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of technology-utilising rehabilitation on different intensities of physical activity (PA) and determine the explanatory factors of PA change. This was a prospective cohort study. Cardiac, musculoskeletal and vocational rehabilitees (N = 36) had 6 months of rehabilitation, which included guided training and counselling face-to-face as well as through distance technology. PA (total, light, moderate, vigorous) was measured by an activity tracker. Abstract: The image of the Soviet Union and Russia has changed dramatically in the press in Finland after the World War II. This article is based on a frequency analysis in which mentions of certain countries, groups of states and international organizations were coded (like the Soviet Union/Russia, United States, NATO, UN etc.). To make the analysis more revealing and interesting, a distinction was made whether the mention was made in the context of (1) alliance, friendship and cooperation, or in the context of (2) distance, restriction and enemy image, or (3) both in a positive and in a negative context. The electrophoretic data from seven enzymatic systems, codifying for 20 loci, and the patterns of general proteins from some tissues of Mullus barbatus and Mullus surmuletus were examined. 2. 2. The value of the genetic distance index as per Nei is 0.068, this criterium showing a high similarity between the two species. 3. 3. Species-specific patterns were found for the SOD enzyme and general proteins of the muscle.

A global experiment on motivating social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic

Significance\ud \ud Communicating in ways that motivate engagement in social distancing remains a critical global public health priority during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study tested motivational qualities of messages about social distancing (those that promoted choice and agency vs. those that were forceful and shaming) in 25,718 people in 89 countries. The autonomy-supportive message decreased feelings of defying social distancing recommendations relative to the controlling message, and the controlling message increased controlled motivation, a less effective form of motivation, relative to no message.
