Topical anti-inflammatory activity of some Asian medicinal plants used in dermatological disorders.

The topical anti-inflammatory activity of extracts from Cassia angustifolia, Rheum palmatum, Coptis chinensis, Phellodendron amurense and Scutellaria baicalensis, plants used in traditional East Asian medicine against different skin disorders, was studied. Though in different degree, all the extracts significantly inhibited the edema induced by 12-O-tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate (TPA), in both single or multiple application, oxazolone, and arachidonic acid (AA). None of the extracts inhibited in vitro the activity of phospholipase A(2) (PLA(2)) from Naja naja.

Abstract Rationale: The clinical manifestations of the SARS-CoV-2 infection are mainly respiratory but the virus can cause a variety of symptoms. Dermatological findings are less well-characterized. Data is scarce on their timing, type and correlation with the immune response. Patient concerns: We present the case of SARS-CoV-2 infection in a previously healthy woman who presented with respiratory symptoms and developed anosmia, diarrhea, and an erythematous maculo-papular rash on day 15 from symptom onset. SMEs in Ecuador do not apply a model of administrative management, and this is based because in the country the largest percentage of companies are small, medium and micro Enterprises (SMEs), so the consequence of the lack of a management model affects the Work efficiency and process management. The objective of this study is to make known the importance of the use of management models in small and micro enterprises, taking into consideration different theoretical positions for the design of a management model that could be applied in the SMEs of the Ecuador.

Presenciamos un momento de creciente fascinación por la mediación. Sin embargo, el Derecho administrativo se presenta históricamente como un ámbito plagado de obstáculos frente a las ADR y, por tanto, frente a la mediación. Sin embargo, los cambios sociales y la mutación de las estructuras administrativas llevan a buscar nuevos cauces para la resolución de los conflictos con la Administración. La mediación se ha visto fuertemente impulsada por la Unión Europea y en el ámbito interno, el Consejo General del Poder Judicial ha propiciado la incorporación de la mediación administrativa mediante proyectos pilotos que impulsan el consenso.
