Iodofluorination of alkenes and alkynes promoted by iodine and 4-iodotoluene difluoride

It was found that a mixt. of mol. iodine and 4-iodotoluene difluoride are useful to generate in situ the electrophilic iodine/nucleophilic fluorine (IF) couple that was able to add in a Markovnikov fashion and with prevalent anti-stereoselectivity to various alkenes and alkynes.

Soil protects our buried or damaged heritage of archaeological and historic remains from depletion, damage, and any disturbance. The synthesis of innovative catalysts based on different carbon nanoforms (CNFs), namely fullerene C60 and carbon nanotubes (CNTs), and their application in Suzuki and Heck C-C coupling reactions, constitutes the common thread of the first part (Chapter 1 and 2) of this thesis. C60 and CNTs were functionalized with ionic liquids (ILs) and poly-amidoamine (PAMAM) dendrimers, respectively, and used as supports for palladium nanoparticles (PdNPs). Moreover, additional supported catalytic systems based on one of the synthesized C60-IL hybrids were prepared and successfully employed in the title coupling reactions. In this paper, the current available strategies to realize galactose-decorated nanostructured polymeric systems are summarized. These carriers are designed in order to obtain targeted drug delivery to hepatocytes via galactose (GAL) moieties, i.e., for the treatment of viral hepatitis or liver cancer that are the greater causes of global disability and mortality. Usually, the main followed strategy to obtain galactosylated polymeric carriers is to use galactosylated copolymers. Il testo analizza la posizione di Caracciolo sull'urbanistica e le rifluenze negli sviluppi nella Facoltà di Architettura di Palermo. Dopo un periodo in cui l'unità tra architettura e urbanistica era centrale, alla fine degli anni '70 si giunge alla divisione per indirizzi, perdendo il senso dell'eredità di Caracciolo. È un quadro che si è protratto per molti anni, no al nuovo statuto della Facoltà del 1994, che riproponeva il ruolo centrale del progetto e prevedeva il solo corso di laurea in Architettura.
