Serum metabolic profiles in overweight and obese women with and without metabolic syndrome.

Objective: To identify serum biomarkers through metabolomics approach that distinguishes physically inactive overweight/obese women with metabolic syndrome from those who are metabolically healthy, independent of body weight and fat mass. Methods: We applied nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy-based profiling of fasting serum samples to examine the metabolic differences between 78 previously physically inactive, body weight and fat mass matched overweight/obese premenopausal women with and without MetS. In the article I examine how the under 40-year-old female doctoral students with a family succeed in combining their roles as a mother and a doctoral student in their own everyday lives. Artykuł jest próbą syntetycznego przedstawienia zasadniczych idei, które zostały wyrażone w niemieckich dokumentach katechetycznych ostatniego ćwierćwiecza. Po opublikowaniu w 1997 r. przez Kongregację ds. Duchowieństwa Dyrektorium ogólnego o katechizacji w Niemczech nie pojawiło się narodowe dyrektorium katechetyczne, które uwzględniałoby specyfikę wychowania religijnego w tym kraju i wskazywało zasadnicze kierunki współczesnej katechezy. RNA mediated trans-Activation is a proposed mechanism involved in the setting of the epigenetic state of chromatin. It has been studied first in Drosophila melanogaster where it seems that at least some transcribed loci are marked as transcriptionally active by their own transcripts. This effect acts in trans and in some cases could give rise to a transgenerational paramutational-like effect. La creencia en neuromitos en formación inicial de docentes de educación especial en Ecuador

Se analizan las percepciones que tienen los futuros docentes ecuatorianos sobre neurociencia relacionada con la educación. Se presentó un cuestionario con 10 afirmaciones sobre las cuales debían indicar su nivel de conformidad. Los resultados demuestran una alta creencia en neuromitos, lo cual podría repercutir directamente en su futura práctica educativa.
