Priekšrocības un trūkumi vācu valodas kā svešvalodas nodarbībās tiešsaistē

Mana bakalaura darba mērķis ir izzināt, cik efektīvas ir vācu valodas mācības tiešsaistē no studentu un skolnieku puses. Šim nolūkam tiek tuvāk pētīts, kādas ir galvenās un visbiežāk sastopamās problēmas tiešsaistes apmācībās. Šīs pētījums balstās uz studentu un skolnieku aptaujas rezultātiem, pasniedzēju komentāriem, kā arī tiešsaistes mācību stundās izmantotiem materiāliem. Pētījuma gaitā tika secināts, ka lielākajai daļai studentu un skolnieku online mācības rada būtiskas problēmas, piemēram, mācību process aizkavējas (ir lēnāks), mācību materiāla apguvē ir vērojamas nepilnības, skolēniem un studentiem ir grūti ilgstoši koncentrēties.

The HPC Certification Forum: Toward a Globally Acknowledged HPC Certification

The goal of the HPC Certification Forum is to categorize, define, and examine competencies expected from proficient HPC practitioners. The community-led forum is working toward establishing a globally acknowledged HPC certification process, a process that engages with HPC centers to identify gaps in users’ knowledge, and with users to identify the skills required to perform their tasks. In this article, we introduce the forum and summarize the progress made over the last two years. The release of the first officially supported certificate is planned for the second half of 2020.

Histone Code and Higher-Order Chromatin Folding: A Hypothesis

AbstractHistone modifications alone or in combination are thought to modulate chromatin structure and function; a concept termed histone code. By combining evidence from several studies, we investigated if the histone code can play a role in higher-order folding of chromatin. Firstly using genomic data, we analyzed associations between histone modifications at the nucleosome level. We could dissect the composition of individual nucleosomes into five predicted clusters of histone modifications. Basaltic Rocks Analyzed by the Spirit Rover in Gusev Crater

The Spirit landing site in Gusev Crater on Mars contains dark, fine-grained, vesicular rocks interpreted as lavas. Pancam and Mini–Thermal Emission Spectrometer (Mini-TES) spectra suggest that all of these rocks are similar but have variable coatings and dust mantles. Magnified images of brushed and abraded rock surfaces show alteration rinds and veins. Rock interiors contain ≤25% megacrysts. Chemical analyses of rocks by the Alpha Particle X-ray Spectrometer are consistent with picritic basalts, containing normative olivine, pyroxenes, plagioclase, and accessory FeTi oxides. Rock aggregates constitute the enormous volume of inert construction material used around the globe. The petrologic description as igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic types establishes the intrinsic formation pattern of the parent rock. International audience; We carried out a QSPR (quantitative structure-property relationships) approach to evaluate the influence of the chemical structure of aqueous matrixes over the partition coefficient between the gas phase and the matrix. The determination of the partition coefficient of flavor ingredients was performed by headspace analysis at equilibrium for both saline solution and -carrageenan gel. Starting from an initial list of 90 descriptors, we selected 10 descriptors to perform equation generation by the GFA (genetic function approximation) method available in the Cerius2 package. Parallel macro pipelining on the intel SCC many-core computer

In this paper we present how Intel's Single-Chip-Cloud processor behaves for parallel macro pipeline applications. Subsets of the SCC's available cores can be arranged as a pipeline where each core processes one stage of the overall workload. Each of the independent cores processes a small part of a larger task and feeds the following core with new data after it finishes its work. Our case-study is a parallel rendering system which renders successive images and applies different filters on them. On normal graphics adapters this is usually done in multiple cycles, we do this in a single pipeline pass.
