With advanced age, aging of the human retina can evolve into pathological forms, age-related macular degeneration (AMD) or diabetic retinopathy (DR). Meanwhile, epidemiological studies suggest that a diet rich in long-chain omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (LC-PUFA) such as EPA and DHA, potentially protects against the development of AMD and insulin resistance, the main risk factor for DR. Dans cet article, seront présentées des voies d’innovations pour augmenter le bénéfice sensoriel de fermentations et les activités du laboratoire international «Tropical Bioresources & Biotechnology» pour découvrir de nouvelles souches et de nouveaux procédés basés sur les fermentations traditionnelles de produits tropicaux.

The aim of this work was to select rationally a probiotic strain by setting up a screening method as well as study and understand the impact of the redox potential (Eh) and gas bubbling on the survival of Bifidobacterium bifidum in a fermented dairy product. In a first time, we have developed selection techniques of probiotic bacteria on the criteria of viability / vitality (flow cytometry analysis) and on the criteria of functionality (antioxidant). National audience; Les rhamnolipides (RL) sont des glycolipides amphiphiles produits par différentes bactéries notamment du genre Pseudomonas et Burkholderia. Les RL comprennent généralement une chaîne d’acides gras couplée à un ou plusieurs rhamnoses. Il sont impliqués dans la formation de biofilms, dans la mobilité bactérienne et constituent, pour certaines bactéries, des facteurs de virulence (Vatsa et al. 2010). Déterminants agricoles parcellaires et paysagers des variations de niveaux de régulation biologique

Le projet SEBIOPAG-Phyto a analysé le potentiel de régulation biologique des bio-agresseurs dans le réseau SEBIOPAG, un ensemble de100 parcelles de cultures annuelles et pérennes localisées dans 5 régions françaises. Les résultats collectés sur 3 années successives indiquent que la régulation biologique s’exprime mieux quand l’utilisation de pesticides décroit et quand le paysage agricole est plus diversifié. L’effet des systèmes de culture ainsi que celui des transformations des activités agricoles et des paysages sur les dernières décennies sont d’autres déterminants potentiels des niveaux de régulation biologiques.

Wheat and vineyard are two emblematic crops of French cropping systems. Weedmanagement in these crops have been at the root of the development of chemical weedcontrol in France for many other crops. The data presented in this study were collected inthe “index phytosanitaires ACTA” from 1961 to 2010. This paper presents the evolution ofnumber of herbicide molecules and mixtures, and number of commercial products availablefor these two crops. Finally, the modes of action (HRAC classification) is proposed for eachcrops.
