Associations of Children’s Close Reading Distance and Time Spent Indoors with Myopia, Based on Parental Questionnaire

Purpose: To study the association of parents’ reports about their children’s near work and outdoor habits with myopia in their children. Methods: Data from a questionnaire study conducted in 1983 among Finnish schoolchildren were reanalyzed. Vision screening had been performed for all the schoolchildren (n = 4961) in the 1st, 5th, and 8th grades (7-, 11-, and 15-year-olds) in an area of Central Finland. Is it possible to translate this form of musical mimesis? The first aim of this study was to determine whether organisational constraints, interpersonal conflicts at work, workload and negative affect at work have a positive relationship with intention to leave a current job or profession. The second aim was to investigate whether negative affect at work mediates the relationship between work stressors and intention to leave a current job or profession. Integrative complexity (IC) refers to a psychological construct, a measurement, and an experience. As a construct IC refers to our less than conscious thinking style in the face of difference or disagreement, how we process information, make decisions, solve problems. The cross-culturally validated empirical measurement frame of IC has predictive values. ’Low IC’ indicates a simple thinking style that is rigid and closed, a ’tunnel vision’ way of thinking that cannot respect or recognize different dimensions or perspectives on a topic, predicting destructive conflict or violence. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena on tarkastella, miten liikearvon arvo määräytyy ja onko liikearvo arvorelevanttia. Kohdeyritysten taloudellisten tietojen ja niiden analysoinnin pohjalta on tarkoituksena selvittää, onko liikearvon ja yrityksen markkina-arvon välillä yhteys sekä miten liikearvon määrä on vaihdellut kohdeyritysten taseissa vuosina 2007-2014. Tavoitteena on myös selvittää, miten markkinat suhtautuvat liikearvon arvonalentumiskirjauksiin. Tutkimusmenetelmä on kvantitatiivinen tutkimus, jossa on myös ominaispiirteitä field-tutkimuksesta. Dydaktyczne postulaty Ludwiki Jeleńskiej (1885-1961) w świetle założeń współczesnej pedagogiki integralnej

Głównym celem artykułu jest wykazanie obecności współczesnych założeń pedagogiki integralnej w postulatach dydaktycznych Ludwiki Jeleńskiej (1885-1961). Rozważania wpisują się w historyczne badania pedagogiczne, w których zastosowana jest metoda analizy i krytyki źródeł. W pierwszym punkcie dokonana jest operacjonalizacja pojęcia „pedagogika integralna”. Drugi punkt zawiera prezentację obecności myśli dydaktycznej L. Jeleńskiej we współczesnej literaturze pedagogicznej. W trzecim punkcie zrelacjonowane są wyniki analizy dydaktyki L. Jeleńskiej w perspektywie dzisiejszych założeń pedagogiki integralnej. Tarkastelen tutkielmassani ymmärtämisen käsitettä Ludwig Wittgensteinin myöhäisfilosofian pohjalta. Pyrin samalla sekä esittelemään että soveltamaan Wittgensteinin erityislaatuista filosofista menetelmää. Tulkintani mukaan Wittgenstein käsitti filosofian tehtäväksi sen osoittamisen, että filosofiset ongelmat perustuvat virheellisille oletuksille. Tämä osoitetaan tarkastelemalla ongelman kannalta relevanttien käsitteiden ”kielioppia” eli käyttösääntöjä, jotka määräävät niiden merkityksen. Filosofian tarkoitus ei siis ole esittää ratkaisuja filosofisiin ongelmiin vaan paljastaa niiden olevan mielettömiä osoittamalla, että jos ilmaisuja käytetään niiden kieliopin mukaisesti, filosofisia ongelm…
