Przepis art. 299 Kodeksu spółek handlowych jako funkcja prawa o niewypłacalności

2022

Przepis art. 299 Kodeksu spółek handlowych nawiązuje do treści art. 298 Kodeksu handlowego. Polski ustawodawca model spółki z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością generalnie oparł na regulacji niemieckiej. Niemniej z uwagi na częste przypadki nadużywania formy spółki kapitałowej wprowadził szczególną odpowiedzialność członków zarządu. Regulacja art.

Heterogeneous photocatalysis: guidelines on experimental setup, catalyst characterization, interpretation, and assessment of reactivity

2019

Soon after the publication of the first pioneering works on heterogeneous photocatalysis, the number of papers on this topic continuously increased. This intriguing field of research is very complex as it endows with an interdisciplinary overview that involves different aspects of chemistry, physics, material and environmental sciences. Even if photocatalytic applications in real processes are often difficult to be implemented and scaled-up, investigations at laboratory scale are easy to be performed, and in some cases they may give rise to misconceptions. For this reason, the present work aims to sum up most of the common experimental techniques and procedures generally used in heterogeneo…

Stato di emergenza e legalità costituzionale alla prova della pandemia

2022

The need to outline a satisfactory relationship between emergency and constitutional legality has accompanied the evolution of public law, posing questions that are not fully resolved. The debate on the issue is back in vogue with the pandemic emergency, in relation to the issues related to containment measures. The paper traces the related matter, also in light of the interpretation offered by the judgments that the Constitutional Court has pronounced, in particular in relation to the territorial balance of emergency powers and the system of sources of law.

Surface plasmon polariton interaction with Sulforhodamine 101 dye

2011

The integration of conventional optical elements and electronic circuits is limited by size mismatch between these components. The diffraction limit does not allow miniaturizing optical elements to nm-scale. It was realized that light being strongly coupled to coherently oscillating electrons at the metal surface could be used to overcome this limit. The coupled state is called surface plasmon polariton. Surface plasmon polariton propagates in plane of metallic film within 10-100 μm range but decay exponentially in perpendicular directions to metal-dielectric boundary. Interaction of the surface plasmon polaritons with fluorescent dye molecules may result in development of new nanodimension…

On the mechanism of radiation synthesis of nanogels

2016

Radiation-engineered poly(N-vinyl pyrrolidone) nanogels are very interesting biocompatible nanocarriers for i.v. administration of therapeutics and contrast agents for bioimaging among other applications. Nanogels are usually produced upon irradiation of dilute aqueous polymer solutions. Under these conditions, the polymer radicals formed primarily react via intramolecular radical-radical combination forming intramolecular crosslinks. The manufacturing process is fast and effective and grants excellent control of particle size and simultaneous sterilization of the formed nanogels. Interestingly, primary amino groups and carboxyl groups, useful for (bio)conjugation, are also formed in a dose…

1,2,6-Thiadiazine 1-Oxides: Unsaturated Three-Dimensional S,N-Heterocycles from Sulfonimidamides.

2020

Unprecedented three-dimensional 1,2,6-thiadiazine 1-oxides have been prepared by an aza-Michael-addition/cyclization/condensation reaction sequence starting from sulfonimidamides and propargyl ketones. The products have been further functionalized by standard cross-coupling reactions, selective bromination of the heterocyclic ring, and conversion into a β-hydroxy substituted derivative. A representative product was characterized by single-crystal X-ray structure analysis. peerReviewed

Catalytic applications of TiO2

2021

Abstract The use of TiO2 as heterogeneous catalyst and/or active support for metals or other oxides is here reported. Many reactions of industrial relevance involve, in fact, titania-based catalysts, among them, NOx abatement, Fischer–Tropsch and water–gas shift, Deacon and Claus processes, hydrodesulfurizations and hydrogenations, selective reductions and selective oxidations. This chapter aims to discuss the main applications of TiO2, in its different forms, as effective support or catalyst for thermocatalytic and photo-thermocatalytic reactions, focusing on the role of its structural and physicochemical properties on the catalytic performance (activity, selectivity, stability).

Thermodynamics: Classical Framework

2016

This chapter starts with a summary of the thermodynamic potentials and the relationships between them which are obtained from Legendre transformation. This is followed by an excursion to some important global properties of materials such as specific heat, expansion coefficients and others. The thermodynamic relations provide the basis for a discussion of continuous changes of state which are illustrated by the Joule-Thomson effect and the Van der Waals gas. These are models which are more realistic than the ideal gas. The discussion of Carnot cycles leads to and illustrates the second and third laws of thermodynamics. The chapter closes with a discussion of entropy as a concave function of …
