Technology designers and developers can be understood as social experience (SE) mediators. In user experience (UX), notions of SE have served to identify and define the factors contributing to human-technology interaction (HTI). Three dominant perspectives have been promoted in UX discourse: 1) SE of brand, brand value and consumer culture; 2) technology design as mediator of human-to-human interactions; and 3) meaning generation through action and interaction between actors. This reflection note, based on the lead author’s keynote presentation at the Information Systems Research Seminar in Scandinavia/Scandinavian Conference on Information Systems 2019, makes an argument for the need to study the transformation from digital services to cybernized services offered by service providers to their customers. International audience; In this paper, we present a protocol to collect data within a vehicular ad hoc network (VANET). In spite of the intrinsic dynamic of such network, our protocol simultaneously offers three relevant properties: (1) It allows any vehicle to collect data beyond its direct neighborhood (i.e., vehicles within direct communication range) using vehicle-to-vehicle communications only (i.e., the infrastructure is not required); (2) It tolerates possible network partitions; (3) It works on demand and stops when the data collection is achieved. Online surveys are increasingly used due to their speed and efficiency. The aim of this study was to analyze factors that may have contributed to the quality and speed of response of an online survey on influenza vaccination in primary healthcare workers. A multicenter study including family physicians, nurses and pediatricians from primary healthcare teams from seven Spanish Autonomous Communities was designed. Challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic and design responses in public space: Towards strategies for resilient post-Covid cities

The Covid-19 pandemic triggered governments and designers to revalue and redesign public spaces. This paper focuses on the various design responses to Covid-19 proposed and implemented in public spaces. In particular, we identify the kinds of challenges that such design responses address and the strategies that they use. We selected 56 design examples, largely collected from internet sources. By analyzing the design examples we identified five Covid-related challenges that were addressed in public space: sustaining amenities, keeping a distance, feeling connected, staying mentally healthy, and expanding health infrastructures.
