The significance of student voice: female students’ interpretations of failure in Tanzanian secondary education

Abstract: In Tanzania, the national examinations are used as the primary tools for selection and transition from lower to upper secondary education. Female students are more likely to fail in the national exams and to drop out from education. This article examines the perspectives of female students concerning their advancement in secondary education. With reference to the functions attributed to municipalities and provinces, the Tuscany Region has maintained a central role of planning and coordination of activities in the tourism sector. Local authorities and the various territorial levels of the trade associations of undertakings and workers are also formally involved in the preparation of regional planning. For this purpose, some regions have set up consultation tables to involve all public and private stakeholders in the sector. The article delves into the modalities of tourism planning, highlighting the training process and the laws of reference.

Abstract This paper aims to present the state of implementation of operational programs 2007-2013 co-financed with structural instruments, to determine the level of absorption of these funds and the achievement of the strategic objectives set by European and national documents. The purpose of this analysis is to identify weaknesses and strengths that Romania has in this area and how it is likely to increase the success of absorption rate of EU funds. All these aspects are very important, as structural funds are considered an important tool in combating the effects of the financial crisis on the Romanian economy.

In 2019, Latvia drafted a National Development Plan [NDP 2027] for the next period, which also comprises actions for the development of the tourism sector. Unlike previous practices, approaches to drafting a common plan and developing and implementing tourism policy have changed significantly.
