TESI DOCTORAL ELS PARLARS DEL MONTSIÀ. ESTUDI GEOLINGÜÍSTIC L'estudi presenta la descripció dialectal de la llengua catalana, a partir del registre col·loquial, a la comarca del Montsià, situada al bell mig de la llengua, entre el Baix Ebre al nord, el Baix Maestrat al sud i el Matarranya a l'oest. Les dades s'han recollit en dènou punts d'enquesta, aquests són els que estan habitats regularment amb població autòctona. Els informants presenten el perfil adequat per a aquest tipus d'investigació. El qüestionari s'ha basat en 3.491 ítems. El treball inclou les parts habituals de descripció lingüística: fonètica (vocalisme tònic i àton, consonantisme), morfologia nominal i verbal, morfosintaxi…

This paper describes, from an intra-dialect point of view, the phonological traits of pronoun clitization in Algherese. The approach is based on the restrictions upon the syllabic structure of this variety, which tends to avoid the coda between clitics and verbs and between one clitic and another, It almost does not allow any type of coda in cases of clitization, which are solved through rules of assimilation and simplification, through the insertion of an epenthetic [a] between the verb and the clitic, or by modifying the ending, which leads to a wide range of homophonic sequences. This study attempts an approach to a linguistic description of the Valencian area nort of the La Nau cape. The paper tries to analize the highest number of variables in order to ascertain the dialectal adscription of this area, which shows a number of common features with Majorcan. In fact, the great migration of islanders into the Marina Alta in the early 17th century was the historical event influencing the dialectal variety of the towns analyzed. However, a number of features specific to this area can be identified which do not belong to Balearic varieties. The aim of this paper is to analyze a sample of verb morphology belonging to the speech of the Valencian area of Baix Vinalopó, in order to ascertain the effect of Catalan standard forms upon traditional spoken tendencies, once Catalan has been present at school or in the mass media for more than twelve years. More specifically, there is an ongoing morphological change, affecting a number of infinitives, future and conditional tenses of the «naixtre», «ixtrà» or «convenstre» type, as different from the general forms in Catalan «nàixer», «eixirà» and «convèncer».

El diccionari "Voces castellanas i su equivalència en valenciano. Voces valencianas i su equivalencia en castellano" (de l'any 1825 i d'autor desconegut, tot i que està signat amb les inicials C. M. G.) no havia merescut fins ara més atenció que aquella que es dedica a una obra manuscrita que gairebé tots els estudiosos de la lexicografia coneixen indirectament. Aquest diccionari s'emmotla en el panorama lexicogràfic valencià del segle XIX i és una de les poques obres d'aquest període i d'aquesta disciplina lingüística que fins ara romania inèdita. Aquesta tesi se centra en l’estudi del contrast entre les sibilants fricatives sordes /s/ i /ʃ/ en valencià, que ha generat un debat intens en la bibliografia. El treball pretén assolir tres objectius bàsics. El primer objectiu és determinar com es realitza el contrast entre /s/ i /ʃ/ per part de joves valencianoparlants. Ens interessa conéixer si es manté l’oposició en totes les varietats valencianes i també si existeix alguna gradació en la distància de separació entre les dues consonants. Una mostra de la transició dialectal catalanoaragonesa : els parlars de la llitera

One of the Aragonese areas where there is better evidence of Catalan-Aragonese dialect transition is la Llitera, an area in the province of Osca where Catalan and Aragonese border varieties remain alive, alongside the North-Western varieties proper. In order to show the internal geovariation in the area, this paper presents the most relevant phonetic and morphological traits which may establish the linguistic adscription of the local dialects. This is supported by a number of maps, which allow us to understand the geolinguistic configuration. An appendix includes five ethnotexts representing some of the towns, with a comment on the dialectal words appearing therein.
