Using Tsetlin Machine to discover interpretable rules in natural language processing applications

Tsetlin Machines (TM) use finite state machines for learning and propositional logic to represent patterns. The resulting pattern recognition approach captures information in the form of conjunctive clauses, thus facilitating human interpretation. In this work, we propose a TM-based approach to three common natural language processing (NLP) tasks, namely, sentiment analysis, semantic relation categorization and identifying entities in multi-turn dialogues. By performing frequent itemset mining on the TM-produced patterns, we show that we can obtain a global and a local interpretation of the learning, one that mimics existing rule-sets or lexicons. Wspólna deklaracja chrystologiczna, którą 25 lat temu podpisał papież Jan Paweł II i patriarcha Asyryjskiego Kościoła Wschodu, Mar Dinkha IV, jest kamieniem milowym po okresie wspólnej stagnacji chrystologicznej, która trwała bezowocnie przez ostatnie kilkaset lat. Dokument zajmuje się tymi aspektami nauczania Kościoła o Chrystusie, które sprawiły, że Kościół asyryjski poszedł własną drogą po Soborze w Efezie (431). Warto zauważyć, że wiara, jaką wyznawali Asyryjczycy w odniesieniu do Wcielenia Syna Bożego, i relacji między dwiema Jego naturami, boską i ludzką, jest taka sama, jak nauczał ją Kościół od czasów Soboru w Chalcedonie (451).

The paper deals with the importance of words and dialogue in family education. In the first part, some evidence of an action research is presented – shaped in a hermeneutic phenomenological framework and thanks to the Philosophy for Children method and materials. Then some key words are pointed out, meant as formative goals for parents’ educational support, so as to highlight the importance of dialogue among generations and, mainly, of the ethical responsibility of parents in education.

The aim of this study is to question meaning-making and how individuals’ narrate around it based on a 10 day intensive programmes. Inside out - Outside in: Building bridges with diversity in teacher education project was the focused of research, based on the collaboration of eight universities invested in teacher education that took place in the University of Jyväskylä. Thirty-two participants’ were involved sharing their experiences and stories based on two sets of data; 1) pre-questionnaire and, 2) a final reflective essay in response to the programme. Argumentation in the Context of High School Mathematics : Examining Dialogic Aspects of Argumentation

In this chapter, I examine argumentation from the perspective of dialogic argumentation that highlights students’ engagement with each other’s ideas in the process of making mathematical claims and providing evidence to support them. I analyzed the provided data for students’ dialogic and justifying moves and investigated how the teacher supported argumentation. I found that the students’ dialogic moves included elaborating and commenting on peers’ ideas. Students’ justifying moves included one case of articulating reasoning and several instances of describing support.
