Los problemas de aligación forman parte de las matemáticas desde épocas antiguas. Actualmente, han perdido interés educativo, aunque siguen presentes en los temas de álgebra y en la vida diaria. En este trabajo, presentamos el modelo de enseñanza de estos problemas en las enciclopedias escolares que estuvieron vigentes desde los años veinte hasta los años setenta del pasado siglo. En 1989 se conformó en Valencia (España) el grupo de innovación e investigación pedagógica Gea-Clío, centrado en torno a la didáctica de la geografía y la historia desde una perspectiva progresista y crítica. Un año después (en 1990) se inició en España una reforma educativa de gran calado que extendió la obligatoriedad de la escolarización hasta los 16 años. La implementación de dicha reforma conllevó la aparición de serios problemas en el sistema educativo español. Se analiza la génesis de dichos problemas, las soluciones conservadoras aplicadas durante los últimos años y sus efectos. Summary. The aim of this paper is to study the quantitative tools of the research in didactics. We want to investigate the theoretical-experimental relationships between factorial and implicative analysis. This chapter consists of three parts. The first one deals with the didactic research and some fundamental tools: the a priori analysis of a didactic situation, the collection of experimental data and the statistic analysis of data. The purpose of the second and the third section is to introduce the experimental comparison between the factorial and the implicative analysis in two researches in mathematics education.

This paper presents an analysis of the content of Polish school textbooks for teaching history in the context of the USA’s entry into World War I in 1917. School textbooks have been chosen as the dominant source of student history knowledge. Fourteen textbooks were analysed: seven for the third stage of education (lower secondary schools) and seven for the fourth stage (upper secondary schools, technical schools). These were used between 2001 and 2017. The USA’s entry into the Great War undoubtedly had a decisive impact on the outcome of the global conflict. The perception of sounds of a foreign tongue influences the quality of comprehension and speaking in the language, as well as learning how to read and write properly. The differentiation and identification of sounds enables the development of aural-verbal memory, subsequently associating particular sound patterns with particular meanings. In other words, a developed perception of sounds ensures an efficient communication in a foreign language. Since learners perceive foreign sounds with varied proficiency, the teacher should recognize the difficulties and undertake remedial measures to facilitate learning progress. Herein we would like to rise up a concern of the error correction of pronunciation in French as a Foreign Language. The results of the experimental acoustic analysis (concerning the values of acoustic vowel formants F1 and F2) enabled to precisely specify the difficulties of the experiment’s participants in a field of French vocal system. In relation to the differences of vocal systems of French and Polish language we suggest custom solutions on a didactic level. Based on verbo-tonal method for phonetic integration the error correction activities had been individually elaborated for each participant.

Language learning strategies and teaching practices in adult L2 education : The case of Swedish for Immigrants

This article highlights the use and co-construction of language learning strategies (LLS) in second language education for adults with short previous education. In a case study, we explore how LLS are used and co-constructed by one student and one teacher. The data for the article was created in an action research programme comprising two Swedish for Immigrants (SFI) schools, and the methodology used was classroom observation based in linguistic ethnography. In accordance with Griffiths (2013, p. 15) LLS are defined as “activities consciously chosen by learners for the purpose of regulating their own language learning”. Abstract Flipped Classroom as a pedagogical framework has gained popularity at secondary and tertiary levels of mathematics education, but there is a lack of research based on a solid theoretical foundation. This article considers the flipped mathematics classroom from the perspective of affordances and cultural–historical activity theory. The empirical background is based on semi-structured interview data from eight first-year computer-engineering students following 1 year of flipped classroom teaching. A characterization of recent Nordic research in didactics of mathematics is presented based on the 32 research reports from the Nordic and Baltic countries in the proceedings from NORMA17 (The eighth Nordic conference on didactics of mathematics).
