Si les progrès de la scolarisation des filles sont indéniables, l’indifférenciation des sexes est loin d’être réalisée dans le domaine de l’orientation scolaire. En effet, les voies de la scolarisation restent encore largement sexuées et divisent les sexes selon un principe qui n’est pas sans préfigurer les divisions sexuées du marché du travail et sans rappeler les stéréotypes sociaux de sexe. La meilleure réussite scolaire des filles dans tous les milieux sociaux s’effectue au final en suivant une « reproduction paisible » des mécanismes de ségrégation par filières et spécialités.

Does global warming reduce the freezing injury risk to temperate climate crops? Winter crop response to a temperature increase is complex. Recent works point out, for cold climate vegetation, a paradoxical increase in freezing injury in a warming climate. Complementary works are needed to support these results for winter crops in temperate areas. Heat shock proteins (HSPs) are molecular chaperones whose expression is increased after many different stresses. They have a protective function helping the cell to cope with lethal conditions. These proteins play an essential role as molecular chaperones by assisting the correct folding of nascent and stress-accumulated misfolded proteins and by preventing their aggregation. My team is interested in understanding the roles of HSPs in two physiological related processes: apoptosis and cell differentiation. The inflammasome NLRP3 (NOD like receptor pyd containing 3) is a multiprotein complex notably responsible for IL-1β (interleukine-1β) production, an inflammatory cytokine. Negative effects have been observed in various diseases including cancer. My thesis focuses on the effects of NLRP3 in cancer.In my first project, I studied the NLRP3 inflammasome activation in MDSC (myeloïd derived suppressor cells) after a chemotherapy treatment. Two chemotherapies, 5-Fluorouracil and Gemcitabine, are selectively able to kill MDSC, an immunosuppressive population growing during cancer evolution. A concept that has emerged in recent years is the use of micronutrients as therapeutic agents known for their anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, cardio-protective or anticarcinogenic proprieties. In this work, we studied the in vivo and in vitro mechanism of action of resveratrol and two natural formulations, one involved in the antioxidant effects (product "X") and the other (product "Y") involved in the correction of lipid disorders in people affected by metabolic syndrome.
