Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt idiomu lietojumu Billboard ‘Summer Songs 1985-2014: Top 10 Tunes of Summer’ vārdos, kuri ņemti no katra gada pirmās vietas dziesmas. Pētījuma jautājumi ir šādi: 1) Vai idiomu daudzums dziesmu vārdu gadu laikā ir samazinājies? 2) Kurš idiomu kombinācijas veids tiek lietots visbiežāk? 3) Ko idiomu izskaidrojums atklāj par dziesmu vārdu nozīmi ? Dialogic Tensions in Pre-Service Subject Teachers’ Identity Negotiations

This study explores how five pre-service subject teachers from different disciplines made sense of and characterized their teacher identity after completing their yearlong pedagogical studies. Leaning on the Bakhtinian dialogical approach and socio-culturally oriented discourse analysis, we examine how the students negotiated multiple voices in their narratives (interviews) and how they positioned themselves in relation to these voices. Methodological reflections: supervisory discourses and practice-based learning

The concept of dialogue is often examined apart from the social and historical context in which it is embedded. This paper identifies how dialogue between a superior and a subordinate generates a reorganisation of situated knowledge in the education and training of nurse teachers. We created an analytic method of supervisory discourse founded on differences between discourse-based and practice-based theories. The findings elicit two forms of dialogues: transformative and exploratory. Resum: Al present article s’analitza la pel·lícula También la lluvia, una bona mostra de com també el cine «pel gran públic» pot contribuir, a través de les seves representacions, a conscienciar els espectadors; en aquest cas, sobre temes com el genocidi indígena a l’edat moderna, la històrica marginació dels pobles indígenes d’Amèrica Llatina i el dret a l’aigua que hom posa en discussió arreu del món. S’hi destaca, especialment, el racisme inherent als discursos de les elits que estan reproduïts a la pel·lícula i que són una bona mostra –dins del codi realista de También la lluvia– d’idees i d’un llenguatge prou difós.

Esta tesis investiga críticamente los recursos y patrones lingüísticos utilizados por los tuiteros para debatir sobre discursos de género y opresión patriarcal en relación con la violencia sexual. Este estudio tiene dos objetivos principales: 1) examinar los discursos e ideologías de los tuiteros respecto a la violencia sexual y cómo estos contribuyen a la negociación de las identidades de víctima-perpetrador, y 2) identificar el papel del lenguaje evaluativo en la (re)producción y resistencia de discursos e ideologías de género.
