Accommodation in human eye models: a comparison between the optical designs of Navarro, Arizona and Liou-Brennan.

Aim To simulate and compare accommodation in accommodative and non-accommodative human eye models. Methods Ray tracing and optical design program was used. Three eye models were designed and studied: the Navarro, the Arizona and the Liou-Brennan. In order to make the Navarro and Liou-Brennan models to accommodate, specific geometric parameters of the models were altered with values that were chosen from the literature. For the Arizona model, its' mathematical functions for accommodation were used for the same accommodative demands. Bakalaura darbā tiek pētīts darba tiesiskajās attiecībās un valsts civildienesta attiecībās esošie disciplinārsodi, to piemērošanas paradumi, kādas ir sekas izteiktam disciplinārsodam, ko tiesa vērtē gadījumos, kad ir izteikts disciplinārsods, un, kas ir tas, kam būtu jāpievērš uzmanība, izsakot disciplinārsodu. Autors sniegs arī savus priekšlikumus un ieteikumus, kas būtu jāiekļauj regulējumā. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt cik ļoti šo divu jomu regulējumi atšķiras, un kāpēc ir nepieciešami divi dažādi regulējumi. We introduce a weaker variant of the concept of three point property, which is equivalent to a non-linear local connectivity condition introduced in [12], sufficient to guarantee the extendability of a conformal map f from the unit disk onto a domain to the entire plane as a homeomorphism of locally exponentially integrable distortion. Sufficient conditions for extendability to a homeomorphism of locally p-integrable distortion are also given.

Some geometric properties of disk algebras

Abstract In this paper we study some geometrical properties of certain classes of uniform algebras, in particular the ball algebra A u ( B X ) of all uniformly continuous functions on the closed unit ball and holomorphic on the open unit ball of a complex Banach space X . We prove that A u ( B X ) has k -numerical index 1 for every k , the lushness and also the AHSP. Moreover, the disk algebra A ( D ) , and more in general any uniform algebra whose Choquet boundary has no isolated points, is proved to have the polynomial Daugavet property. Most of those properties are extended to the vector valued version A X of a uniform algebra A .

A characterization of the Schur property through the disk algebra
