Estudio sobre parámetros mecánicos y distancia de golpeo de Bandal Chagui de Taekwondo

En este estudio se analizan los parámetros mecánicos fuerza de impacto (FI), tiempo de reacción (TR), tiempo de movimiento (TM), tiempo total de respuesta (TT) y dominancia, en la patada circular o Bandal Chagui en Taekwondo, basado en la regulación de la distancia de golpeo (ED1, ED2 y ED3). Para ello, se ha utilizado un sistema de nueva creación formado por una plataforma de contacto, una plataforma de fuerzas, un led de luces y un maniqui. Proksemika klasy szkolnej – ukryty wymiar edukacji

W artykule dokonano przeglądu badań dotyczących znaczenia środowiska fizycznego klasy szkolnej dla przebiegu kształcenia, klimatu uczenia się i jakości wzajemnego komunikowania się. W analizach skupiono się zwłaszcza na strefach dystansu fizycznego, zatłoczeniu i zagęszczeniu, aranżacji miejsc siedzących oraz wystroju wnętrza sali lekcyjnej. Z przeglądu badań wynika, że mniejsze dystanse fizyczne między nauczycielem a uczniami sprzyjają osiąganiu wyższych wyników w nauce. Brak odpowiedniej przestrzeni fizycznej (zatłoczenie i zagęszczenie) wpływa na kłopoty z koncentracją, zmniejsza dokładność wykonywania zadań i nasila zachowania agresywne. The unprecedented availability of optical satellite data in cloud-based computing platforms, such as Google Earth Engine (GEE), opens new possibilities to develop crop trait retrieval models from the local to the planetary scale. Hybrid retrieval models are of interest to run in these platforms as they combine the advantages of physically-based radiative transfer models (RTM) with the flexibility of machine learning regression algorithms. SparseHC: A Memory-efficient Online Hierarchical Clustering Algorithm

Computing a hierarchical clustering of objects from a pairwise distance matrix is an important algorithmic kernel in computational science. Since the storage of this matrix requires quadratic space with respect to the number of objects, the design of memory-efficient approaches is of high importance to this research area. In this paper, we address this problem by presenting a memory-efficient online hierarchical clustering algorithm called SparseHC. SparseHC scans a sorted and possibly sparse distance matrix chunk-by-chunk. Effects of Rule Changes on Game-Related Statistics in Men's Water Polo Matches

The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of rule changes on game-related statistics in men's water polo matches. A total of 856 men's matches played in all Olympic Games and World Championship since 1936 was analysed. The game-related statistics considered were: total goals, winners' goals, losers' goals, goals per minute, goals difference, relationship difference goals and total goals, and relationship difference goals and winners' goals. The ALHAMBRA survey: evolution of galaxy clustering since z∼1

We study the clustering of galaxies as function of luminosity and redshift in the range $0.35 < z < 1.25$ using data from the Advanced Large Homogeneous Area Medium Band Redshift Astronomical (ALHAMBRA) survey. The ALHAMBRA data used in this work cover $2.38 \mathrm{deg}^2$ in 7 independent fields, after applying a detailed angular selection mask, with accurate photometric redshifts, $��_z \lesssim 0.014 (1+z)$, down to $I_{\rm AB} < 24$. Given the depth of the survey, we select samples in $B$-band luminosity down to $L^{\rm th} \simeq 0.16 L^{*}$ at $z = 0.9$.
