Bei vernetzten Copolymeren aus athylvinylbenzol/Divinylbenzol sowie Vinylacetat/Divinyladipat wird der Einflus der Herstellungsbedingungen auf die Eigenschaften der vernetzten Polymeren untersucht. Homogen-vernetzte Gele eignen sich vor allem zur Trennung von Oligomeren; mit heterogen-vernetzten Gelen konnen Polymere getrennt werden. Es wird gezeigt, das bei der heterogen-vernetzenden Polymerisation die Heterogenitat der Copolymeren mit sinkendem Solvatationsvermogen der Inertkomponente wachst; dies fuhrt gleichzeitig zu einer Erhohung des Aussechlusmolekulargewichtes. Vernetzte Polymere werden hergestellt und ihre Eignung zur gelchromatographischen Trennung von Gemischen von Oligomeren gepruft; im einzelnen wurden untersucht: mit Isocyanaten modifiziertes Sephadex; Polymethyl-und Polybutylmethacrylat, vernetzt mit Glykoldimethacrylat bzw. mit Polyathylenoxid-dimethacrylat; Polyvinylacetat, vernetzt mit n-Butandioldivinylather; Polystrol, vernetzt mit Divinylbenzol; ferner Silicagel. Chlormethyliertes Polystyrol (vernetzt mit 0,5% Divinylbenzol) wird mit (+)-Methyl- n-propyl-phenyl-phosphin quartarisiert. Der entstehende Austauscher besitzt eine Kapazitat von 2,68 mVal/g. Mandelsaure, Atrolactinsaure und Traubensaure konnten an diesem Material nicht in die Antipoden gespalten werden. Chlormethylated polystyrene (crosslinked with 0.5% divinylbenzene) is quaternized with (+)-methyl-n-propyl-phenyl-phosphine. The resultant anion exchanger has a capacity of 2.68 m.equiv./g. Mandelic acid, atrolactic, and rac. tartaric acid could not be resolved into the antipodes on this material.

It argues that Jewish writers in this period could attribute «divine functions» to figures beside God, while still feeling committed to «one God». The object of this study is to analyse, through a gender and anthropological perspective, the metaphorical language used to describe divine love relationships, focusing on the use of images from agriculture, pastoralism, and the plant world. We investigated, with a series of field and laboratory observations, the possible effect of the starfish Marthasteria glacialis predation on the operational sex ratio (OSR), i.e. the number of sexually mature males divided by the total number of sexually mature adults of both sexes at any one time, of the edible sea urchin Paracentrotus lividus. ABSTRACT Walruses rely on sea-ice to efficiently forage and rest between diving bouts while maintaining proximity to prime foraging habitat. Recent declines in summer sea ice have resulted in walruses hauling out on land where they have to travel farther to access productive benthic habitat while potentially increasing energetic costs. Despite the need to better understand the impact of sea ice loss on energy expenditure, knowledge about metabolic demands of specific behaviours in walruses is scarce.
