In order to limit the spread of COVID-19, states have gradually implemented restrictions mandating school and kindergarten closures, postponing academic semesters and prohibiting visits to nursing homes to protect the elderly, borders were closed, states prohibited physical contact with more than one person from outside one's household, and other restrictions. Raman analysis of rock samples containing rare earth elements (REEs) is challenging due to the strong fluorescence, which may mask the weaker Raman signal. In this research, time‐gated (TG) Raman has been applied to the construction of the mineral distribution map from REE‐bearing rock. With TG Raman, material is excited with a short subnanosecond laser pulse, and the Raman signal is collected within a picosecond‐scale time window prior to the formation of a strong fluorescent signal by means of single‐photon avalanche diode array. Visual saliency by keypoints distribution analysis

In this paper we introduce a new method for Visual Saliency detection. The goal of our method is to emphasize regions that show rare visual aspects in comparison with those showing frequent ones. We propose a bottom up approach that performs a new technique based on low level image features (texture) analysis. More precisely, we use SIFT Density Maps (SDM), to study the distribution of keypoints into the image with different scales of observation, and its relationship with real fixation points. L’étude porte sur trois territoires de Gironde (France), situés le long d’un gradient d’urbanisation : la métropole de Bordeaux, le territoire périurbain du Créonnais et le territoire rural du Pays Foyen. Un diagnostic cartographique comparatif a été effectué à partir d’indicateurs socio-démographiques et économiques empruntés aux bases de données publiques (INSEE) pour caractériser les vulnérabilités territoriales et faire émerger des perturbateurs potentiels de la qualité de vie des personnes. Following short-term culture, Langerhans cells mature morphologically and functionally into potent immunostimulatory cells. As regulation of gene expression accompanies this maturation process, it is likely that differentially expressed genes are involved in the maturation events. Using the recently described method of differential display, we generated cDNA expression patterns starting with mRNA of murine epidermal Langerhans cells isolated either directly (fLC) or following 3 d cultivation (cLC).
