Effects of Thermal Neutron Irradiation on a Self-Refresh DRAM

International audience; In this study, static and dynamic test methods were used to define the response of a self-refresh DRAM under thermal neutron irradiation. The neutron-induced failures were investigated and characterized by event cross-sections, soft-error rate and bitmaps evaluations, leading to an identification of permanent and temporarily stuck cells, block errors, and single-bit upsets.

Online Management of Hybrid DRAM-NVMM Memory for HPC

Non-volatile main memories (NVMMs) offer a comparable performance to DRAM, while requiring lower static power consumption and enabling higher densities. NVMM therefore can provide opportunities for improving both energy efficiency and costs of main memory. Previous hybrid main memory management approaches for HPC either do not consider the unique characteristics of NVMMs, depend on high profiling costs, or need source code modifications. Burnout is a serious occupational hazard. This study investigated the possibility to develop an effective salutogenic group intervention among employees suffering from severe burnout symptoms. Participants consisted of employees aged 31 to 59 years working in different public service occupations, such as police officers, tax officers, (and other public service officers), and assigned to three different groups: analytic (N = 25), psychodramatic (N = 24) and controls (N = 28). This chapter discusses the theatre of Andrei Șerban, definitely one of the most important theatre directors of the second half of the twentieth century. The ancient theatre at Syracuse, the largest open air theatre in Sicily, experienced many structural changes along its history. Today its very renowned drama festival attracts visitors from all the world that fill the entire cavea: customized seats accomodation and a prominent stage play an important role in the theatre acoustics.
