Visualizing linguistic variation in a network of Latin documents and scribes

This article explores whether and how network visualization can benefit philological and historical-linguistic study. This is illustrated with a corpus-based investigation of scribes' language use in a lemmatized and morphologically annotated corpus of documentary Latin (Late Latin Charter Treebank, LLCT2). We extract four continuous linguistic variables from LLCT2 and utilize a gradient colour palette in Gephi to visualize the variable values as node attributes in a trimodal network which consists of the documents, writers, and writing locations underlying the same corpus. If the first work relating to the automation of the digitalization of machine elements goes back to approximately 25 years, the process of digitalization of parts with non-contact sensor remains nevertheless complex. It is not completely solved today, in particular from a metrological point of view. In this article, we consider the determination of the trajectory planning within the framework of the control of dimensional and geometrical specifications. Micro-Raman investigation of X or gamma irradiated Ge doped fibers

International audience; Micro-Raman spectra have been recorded on Ge doped optical fibers before and after 10 keV-X or c-ray irradiation up to doses of 1 MGy (X-ray) or 7.8 MGy (-ray). Our data provide evidence that, at such dose levels, the glass matrix is not modified in a detectable way. We observed that varying the Ge doping levels from 0 to about 11 wt.%, X or radiation sensitivity of the overall matrix remains unchanged. Such results are observed for fibers obtained with drawing conditions within the usual range used for the fabrication of specialty fibers as radiation-tolerant waveguides. This manuscript introduces a multidimensional framework for academic literacies to help instructors become more aware of different aspects of literacies and how they might be used to plan and orchestrate meaningful, multifaceted literacy experiences in their classes. More specifically, this broad framework for literacy and learning explicitly considers the overlapping role of argumentation, digital inquiry, collaboration, and innovation as they are applied to continuously evolving disciplinary literacy practices. L’Anfiteatro di Sabratha, ignorato dai viaggiatori del XVIII e XIX secolo, venne segnalato nel 1912 da Henri Méhier de Mathuisieulx ed indagato da Renato Bartoccini a partire dal 1924. Gli scavi e le ricerche portate avanti in quegli anni permisero di rimettere in luce gran parte del monumento, che rimase tuttavia non pubblicato. Recenti scavi e ricerche hanno adesso permesso di redigere un nuovo rilievo ed un nuovo studio del monumento.
