Darba mērķis ir novērtēt Reddit platformas sentimentu, pirmkārt, noskaidrot vai tas statistiski nozīmīgi ietekmē digitālo aktīvu Decentraland, Tezos vai Chiliz vērtību. Otrkārt, noteikt vai sociālo mediju ietekme atšķiras šiem neaizvietojamajiem tokeniem un kriptovalūtai Ethereum. Pētījums veikts par 2021. gada Reddit platformā publicētajiem ziņojumiem. Tāpat analīzei tika lejuplādēti digitālo aktīvu Decentraland, Tezos, Chiliz un Ethereum monētu tirgus dienas dati no Yahoo! Finance tīmekļa vietnes, tādējādi iegūstot 361 gadījumu par katru no aktīviem. Ziņojumu polaritātes noteikšanai tika izmantots VADER klasifikators. Removal of selected antibiotics and antiretroviral drugs during post‐treatment of municipal wastewater with UV, UV/chlorine and UV/hydrogen peroxide

Active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) are only partially removed by convectional wastewater treatment plants. This study aimed at assessing the post‐treatment degradation of selected antibiotics and antiretroviral drugs by direct UV photolysis and advanced oxidation processes (UV/H2O2 and UV/Cl2) using low‐pressure mercury lamp. The rate of degradation largely followed pseudo first‐order reaction kinetics. Amongst the six studied APIs, sulfamethoxazole, ciprofloxacin and zidovudine were readily degraded by more than 90% using direct UV photolysis. The wider presence of pharmaceuticals and personal care products in nature is a major cause for concern in society. Among pharmaceuticals, the anti-inflammatory drug ibuprofen has commonly been found in aquatic and soil environments. We produced a Co-doped carbon matrix (Co-P 850) through the carbonization of Co2+ saturated peat and used it as a peroxymonosulphate activator to aid ibuprofen degradation. The properties of Co-P 850 were analysed using field emission scanning electron microscopy, energy filtered transmission electron microscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Sulphonamide motif is found extensively in numerous chemotherapeutic drug candidates, it acts by stopping the production of folate inside the bacterial cell. Current research has established the synthesis and characterization of new bioprecursor prodrugs of sulfadiazine. The first prodrug, 3, was synthesized via the coupling of diazonium salt of sulfadiazine with ethyl acetoacetate in AcONa at 0 °C. The second prodrug, sulfadiazine-pyrazole, 5, was furnished via cyclocondensation of the hydrazono derivative, 3, and 2-pyridyl hydrazine, 4. Diplomdarbs izstrādāts ar mērķi izpētīt sociālās uzņēmējdarbības ietekmi uz pilngadību sasniegušajiem bāreņiem kā sociāli neaizsargātu sabiedrības grupu. Maģistra darba galvenais uzdevums bija pētīt pilngadību sasniegušo bāreņus atbalsta mehānismus pēc ārpusģimenes aprūpes Latvijā un sociālās uzņēmējdarbības kā komercdarbības ietekmi kopumā. Analīzes rezultātā tiek secināts, ka ar sociālās uzņēmējdarbības palīdzību var risināt sociālās problēmas, taču, sociālā uzņēmējdarbība Latvijā ir attīstības sākuma stadijā.
