Efficiency of QuEChERS approach for determining 52 pesticide residues in honey and honey bees

A comparison between QuEChERS and other pesticide extraction procedures for honey and honey bee matrices is discussed. Honey bee matrix was extracted by solvent based procedure whereas solid phase extraction was the protocol for the honey matrix. The citrate buffered QuEChERS method was used for both matrices. The methods were evaluated regarding cost (equipment and reagents), time, accuracy, precision, sensitivity and versatility. The results proved that the QuEChERS protocol was the most efficient method for the extraction of the selected pesticides in both matrices. Diplomdarbā izpētīti darba samaksas veidi, analizēti ieturējumus no darba algas, izvērtētas darbaspēka nodokļu izmaiņas, salīdzināti darbaspēka nodokļi Baltijas valstīs, izvērtēta algas nodokļu izmaiņu ietekme uz ieņēmumiem, novērtēts darbaspēka nodokļu slogs. Cheap Talk with Two Audiences: An Experiment

In this paper we experimentally test strategic information transmission between one informed and two uninformed agents in a cheap-talk game. We find evidence of the “disciplining” effect of public communication as compared to private; however, it is much weaker than predicted by the theory. Adding a second receiver naturally increases the complexity of strategic thinking when communication is public. Using the level-k model, we exploit the within subject design to show how individuals decrease their level-k in public communication. Surprisingly, we find that individuals become more sophisticated when they communicate privately with two receivers rather than one.

Abstract Introduction Laparoscopic adrenalectomy is today considered the standard treatment for benign small adrenal tumors. An open question is the use of laparoscopy for large adrenal masses because of technical limitations and increased risk of malignancy. In this study we report our experience in laparoscopic adrenalectomy for adrenal masses larger than 6 cm. Methods Between January 2010 and December 2013 we performed 41 laparoscopic adrenalectomy. Fourteen of 41 patients (34,1%) were submitted to laparoscopic adrenalectomy for lesion >6 cm in size.
