On attend Godot, il ne viendra jamais, et le théâtre de Beckett est donc la représentation parfaite de cette existence sans but dont nous fûmes affligés à la naissance. Quant à Fin de partie... on finira donc tous dans des poubelles, à se hurler des vérités désagréables. Ce qui est toujours mieux que se faire enterrer dans le sable d’Oh les beaux jours. Nous voudrions ici montrer que Beckett est drôle ! Rions un peu, donc, en attendant la mort !

Temporal-range estimation of multiple objects: evidence for an early bottleneck.

When making parallel time-to-contact (TTC) estimates of two approaching objects, the two respective TTC estimates interfere with one another in an asymmetric fashion. The TTC of the later-arriving object is systematically overestimated, while the estimated TTC for the first-arriving object is as accurate as in a condition presenting only a single object. This asymmetric interference points to a processing bottleneck that could be due to early (e.g., during the estimation of the TTC from the optic flow) or late (e.g., during the timing of the response or the motor execution) constraints in the TTC estimation process. W artykule poruszony jest wątek prowokowania dzieci do aktywności twórczej, stosowany we Wrocławskiej Szkole Przyszłości. Jest to szkoła inna od tej tradycyjnej, ponieważ ważne miejsce zajmują w niej działania pobudzające wyobraźnię i twórcze myślenie, a wątek ekologiczny stanowi kluczowy kontekst tych działań. W artykule podkreśla się, że w tej szkole edukację traktuje się jako alternatywną wobec rozwiązań tradycyjnych, dając każdemu dziecku szansę rozwoju jego możliwości. Sprzyjają temu stosowane tam metody projektowania okazji edukacyjnych, w których dziecko prowokowane jest poprzez niekonwencjonalne formy do aktywności twórczej
Validation of a Portuguese version of the Groningen radiotherapy-induced xerostomia questionnaire

The aim of this study was to validate and determine at pretest level the reliability of the Portuguese version of the Groningen radiotherapy-induced xerostomia questionnaire. This study employed 37 head and neck cancer patients. Each patient signed an informed consent and responded to the Portuguese version of the questionnaire in the form of an interview. This was repeated again after 2 weeks. A standard single question provided a validity check. Data were analyzed using Cronbach?s ? to test its reliability and total and interitem correlation, and intraclass correlation to determine its internal consistency and test-retest reliability.
