La deleción de los exones 45 al 55 en el gen DMD (del45-55) se ha postulado como un interesante modelo terapéutico, mediante el que se podrían beneficiar hasta 60% de pacientes con distrofia muscular de Duchenne. Sin embargo, ésta se expresa con una gran variabilidad clínica, observando sujetos asintomáticos, mientras que otros presentan debilidad muscular, así como alteraciones cardiacas severas. Nie można mówić o zasadach jednomyślności i większości w parlamentaryźmie polskim XVI i XVII wieku, abstrahując od struktury organów przedstawicielskich, ich kompetencji i konkretnych metod podejmowania decyzji. Przedstawione w artykule analizy pozwalają na stwierdzenie, że pomimo tego, że zasada jednomyślności była charakterystyczna dla społeczeństwa stanowego, to już w wieku XVI w praktyce parlamentarnej decydowano w oparciu o zasadę większości. Objawy kryzysu, tj. konfrontacji pomiędzy zasadami, widoczne są już w dwóch ostatnich dziesięcioleciach XVI w. Most current thermoelectric materials have important drawbacks, such as toxicity, scarceness, and peak operating temperatures above 300 °C. Herein, we report the thermoelectric properties of different crystalline phases of Sn-based perovskite thin films. The 2D phase, Cs2SnI4, is obtained through vacuum thermal deposition and easily converted into the black β phase of CsSnI3(B-β CsSnI3) by annealing at 150 °C. B-β CsSnI3is a p-type semiconductor with a figure of merit (ZT) ranging from 0.021 to 0.033 for temperatures below 100 °C, which makes it a promising candidate to power small electronic devices such as wearable sensors which may be interconnected in the so-called Internet of Things. This study investigates the practice of unplanned and emergent vocabulary checks, i.e. turns through which a speaker explicitly checks whether the recipient knows a word, in small-group tutorial instruction. The data are video-recorded English as a second language (ESL) tutoring sessions between a native English speaker tutor and ESL students at an urban community college in the United States. By drawing on conversation analysis, we analyze how vocabulary checks emerge sequentially and with the help of contextual interactional resources. To evaluate the accuracy of the diagnosis of peri-implant bone defects? severities in digital panoramic radiographs obtained at different tube voltage and/or tube current settings. Two different sizes of peri-implant bone defects (type 1 and type 2) were prepared after the implants were inserted into 29 bovine rib blocks. Digital panoramic radiographs were obtained at eight different tube voltage and/or tube current settings for all rib blocks. Implant images were cropped separately. Presentamos un caso clínico de neurofibroma plexiforme localizado en región geniana, a nivel submucoso. Su interés radica en que, a pesar de ser el tumor de origen neurógeno más frecuente, es una entidad poco habitual y que rara vez se localiza a nivel intraoral. Por otra parte, la variedad plexiforme es todavía menos frecuente. Desde el punto de vista clínico, se manifiestan como lesiones anodinas, con escasa sintomatología, que cuando aparece es derivada de la compresión nerviosa.
